I hope CAP is not returning to where it was a few years ago.
Hey everyone, I hope this clears the air a bit.
There are certain things that take place publicly, and others that take place privately. Although he was a regular member of CAP, he frequently broke forum rules and has been warned several times. These rules were broken in the form of personal attacks on individuals (public and private), other member complaints, and direct attacks and accusations against me personally via private message and e-mail.
As for the recent thread that was posted, this was not the single reason he was banned. We spoke with FA and asked them to contact Dave regarding the issue. You’ll see that was said in the thread. What you don’t see is the remarks that were made during that call which led the issue to go unresolved, even after our involvement. I really can’t get into details around that, but the bottom line is that his behavior has historically been inappropriate, which is why he was booted.
I hope this helps, and I am sorry that this was so sudden. Next time an a regular member is banned, which is not common, I’ll do my best to post the reasons right after so everyone has some insight. That way no one is left wondering.

If I understand it correctly, Dave has been banned for posting elements of his own stats. If that’s the case, you can close my account at CAP too. Dave should not have been banned and his thread should not have been closed.
This smell like crap and I think I’m out of here.

Now that the thread has been closed – we never will.It’s all fine dealing with it in private, but when there are concerns with the stats which would affect all affiliates – would like CAP to actually “earn” the money and present us, the affiliates, with a solution.
Bottom line, it would be great to find out why AussieDave’s stats were so skewed, what was FA’s explanation. Or do we have to go to GPWA to get an answer to a thread started on CAP?!?

With all due respect this is just your side of the events. We all know that AussieDave can ask some really difficult questions on forums and maybe sometimes get a bit heated. But as a member of this forum I say it was AussiDave who brought some respectability to this place.
When threads are just closed and members banned without the opportunity to state their side of matters then I feel this place is doomed and does not warrant the respect of other hard working webmasters.
I too would like to hear an answer from Fortune Affiliates. I also call for AussieDave to be unbanned immediately.
This is my final post at CAP unless Dave is immediately unbanned and his FA thread unlocked.
I’m done with giving my time to unethical forums.

Hey guys,
AussieDave is no longer banned and now only temporarily suspended. I am trying to wrap my head fully around the situation that transpired so we can take the correct action without doing so in haste.
I agree this wasn’t handled in the best manner and we’ll be looking at clearing his account shortly.
As far as the threads that were closed, please read those threads again and you’ll notice that AussieDave actually requested that we lock those threads on his behalf and so we did.
I am going to start the direct dialogue with Fortune and AussieDave and remain involved until we can come up with some sort of resolution and verified explanation on his stats.
I can assure you we aren’t going to side with any operator over their status or sponsorship on CAP as those days are long gone.
Please give us another day or so and I’ll revert back. In the meanwhile, I am moving this thread to the private forums.
