InactiveIt’s a pain and I have been hassled and shafted, stabbed in the back and slandered to aff programs from many directions for years.
I know where I picked up one set of “admirers”, and it took years for them to simmer down. I still get to “savor some presents” they sent my way, such as various porn subscriptions that flood some of my addresses at the rate of ten to 15 every minute of the day. I didn’t change the adresses even – I refuse to. I just created folders for this crap and once in a while toss the stuff.
The part I hate most is the people who pretend to be my good friends and go around behind my back and slander me to aff programs. Just because I don’t do anything about it doesn’t mean I don’t know every detail about it. Best to keep my enemies close.
In the end, as long as people don’t manage to destroy your sites, they don’t really hurt you. The aff programs respond best to Dollar amounts, and it doesn’t matter one bit to them who says what about whom.
If however someone destroyed my property, I would be on them like a ton of bricks.

InactiveThey also confirmed that someone complained that the telephone number on my whois record was invalid – which was the case – I don’t like my phone number being on the net.
This person must know you well to know phone number is incorrect..
As far as neteller.. I had someone try and hack into my neteller account.. The good thing about neteller is they track all attempted and actual log in’s.. Ask them to send you the history. They have all ips.
This is what I did, traced the ip back to the person who was hacking and had the police show up on their doorstep..
With neteller if they know your account number and secure id, they can try like 3 to 5 times to figure out password. If they get it wrong in those attempts neteller will auto send a reminder on password. This is how I caught the person trying to hack into my account.

InactiveI don’t like talking about it much always keep in mind only stupid malicious hackers get caught. Tracking the IP can be sometimes useless because most high end malicious hackers ride the train through t-1 connections.
Case in point even though neteller would have a a log of IP’S they could be useless. But if you know the community of hackers you can usually catch the person.
Know the difference between hacker, malicious hacker/ cracker(old school)

Well you never know.. If they used a ip not located in same country as the neteller account holder, neteller would have locked the account.
So depending if the person trying to get into his neteller was a actually hacker or just a person trying to do damage. Always worth it to check it out.

InactiveI agree, could have been some amatuer seeing if he/she could get lucky with the password. In that case yes the IP would be important.
