I can’t wait to see Angle get submitted in less than a minute. What I really want to see is the Randy and Fedor matchup which should be coming soon.
I saw Angle and Randy on pros vs. joes and Randy had way more game against the joes than Angle. Should be entertaining though :beatup:

There is no way Angle gets submitted in a wrestling match with Couture, this fight goes the distance, 2 Olympic wrestlers, if anything, Angle wins by submission after slapping on the Ankle Lock
Angle is faster, bigger, younger, and has the mental advantage, in 1996 Couture was an alternate on the Olympic team when Angle won the Gold Medal, so they know eachother well
Angle is also one incredibly tough guy, he won the Gold medal wrestling with a broken neck, and endured 5 neck surgeries, and mentally, his father was killed when he was young, his sister died, and his coach was murdered just before the 1996 Olympics, this guy don’t feel pain
Angle is a winner, he beat Brock Lesnar in something similar to a MMA fight last year in Japan, and he’s been training there preparing for the UFC
This is going to be great to see, Angle would never go into something like this to be a patsy, i expect him to win
Couture is obviously one of the best fighters of all time, but when this match turns into an old school Greco-Roman wrestling match, Angle will take over and control the ground
No chance Angle wins or even comes close. We will meet back here after the match and if I’m wrong I will humbly stand corrected. :hattip:

Couture has 2 submission wins in his entire career, both against below average fighters, both by choke out, he won’t choke out Kurt Angle, i saw Kurt Angle escape from a choke hold by breaking his own neck, like i said, he’s very real, don’t let the WWE Wrestling shtick fool u
If i had to put money on this i would bet it goes the entire 15 minutes
Guys what makes this a competitive match is the fact that its a “Submission Match Only” there is no striking allowed. The really evens the playing field and actually tips the scales in Angles favor.
If striking was allowed I would have to go with Randy in the first round, but take the striking out and make it pure grappling and its a super match up. I am REALLY looking forward to this one.
I am also drooling over the Randy/Fedor match as this is the ONLY match that can decide whos the better heavyweight, if even for only one night in the world. Both are unstoppable and I couldnt bet on this one.
Randy has a knack of winning when all analysis says he shouldnt. Forget Captain America, he’s Superman.
Fedor is the Russian destroyer of all that come before him. He is a vicious Combat Sambo champion and can do serious and permanent damage on the ground. He can strike with the best in the world of MMA. He’s been unstoppable for years. If ANYONE can beat him its got to be Randy.
That fight is the greatest match up in fighting sports in the last 20 years. You have to go back to the early 70’s during Ali’s second run to find anything close to this one. I will fly in to see it and pay whatever I have to for seats near the ring. Thats how good this one will be.
