InactiveThere’s 2 reasons that happens.
1.Banned Players: One of the players that has registered through you has been banned. Once a player gets banned, they have to return all of his or her money to them, and as a result the casino cannot pay Webmasters for revenues generated through banned players.
2.Player Investigation: The casino is investigating information such as credit cards, bank information, or address verification on one of the players brought in by you, and so have withheld payment of profits generated from that player for at least one month.

vladcizsolMemberMatt brings out some excellent points which may have some bearing in this particular case.
But, I do understand the frustration with RTG casinos and their ultra liberal manager bonuses.
It is a little hard to swallow when you have players deposit money and the casino nets that money but YOUR commission gets cancelled out by gifts to the player that frequently look excessive.
I have personally seen managers extend over $500 in credits to players who deposited $60 and as an affiliate I think this is pretty bad business so believe me I empathize with what you are saying.
The good news is that well run RTGs tend to still produce excellent net revenues in the long run. The bad news is poorly run ones NEVER do. So pick your RTGs very carefully.
For what its worth, I think Wager Profits is clearly one of the better run RTG groups. I think in the long run you will find the players they are gifting now will be long term clients and make you decent returns in the future.

InactiveI still dont think they should count the gifts they give players against us. I showed you an example above of how Royal Circus and their group does it. We only get penalized for 10 percent of the manager credits and bonuses. This, I believe is very fair.

InactiveSorry Professor I edited my post and replaced it with the information I found answering Slotchicks question more specifically……
What i said though in case anyone was wondering was in reference to bonus happy RTG’s that hand out free chips every week, and an example is where I have broughten over 700 new players and from that many deposits, yet I have yet to see a penny and doubt I will while the casino profits in a sense off the money since they arent seeing any of it “REALLY” being withdrawn!
But Yes, wagerprofits is one of the RTG programs where I MADE money. In fact they were my first affiliate payment I ever made

lol

Inactivewell if you look at my example above, you’ll see what I mean…400.00 in deposits….casino made 400.00 and I made NOTHING cuz the manager credits wiped out my chance. NOT FAIR~

GuestAm I understanding this correctly?
Are you saying that the casino takes the bonuses out of the affiliate’s (our) profit, and not a dime from the casino’s profit?
Nice job if you can get it.
NO wonder they can afford to be generous!

InactiveReread my original first response.
Those two reasons potentially could be yoru problem as I have found those answers on three RTGs FAQs regarding your sitatuation

InactiveNo Matt, that is NOT the reason why. There were no banned players at all. It’s just the way the credits eat up the net win.

InactiveJust trying to help.
I cut and paste that from the FAQ’s.

InactiveWhen a RTG casino does this crap I drop them,
a few of the aff managers I have ask me if I want my large players comped etc … it all depends and what the prof said about choosing wisely is no joke! I test them before I start giving to much banner space and exposure.February 13, 2004 at 12:40 pm #644783Anonymous

GuestMichele,
Like I told you by email, I have someone looking into this. All of your earnings are from old players so we have to find who deposited last month and then we can see what happened.
About the bonusing, we understand that it may not be very popular, but we also have a lifetime deposit average per player of $1,282.70 and rising. We obviously are keeping people coming back to deposit more and more like this, so we’re not likely to change this anytime soon. Mind you, our CS supervisors have been with us for years and know what to look for in players and we do choose carefully who gets comped what.
Feel free to post in our forum here if you have any other questions.February 15, 2004 at 11:10 pm #644886Anonymous
InactiveHey Jeff,
You said

Now I am not accusing your casinos but if you saw how some of these RTG casinos are comping players $1,282.70 means nothing the way some RTG casinos comp. Also as well why would the affiliate foot the whole bill on manager credits ? I have wondered this often at some RTG casinos, seems like a partnership that the casino would split that with affiliates atleast. Ohh well good luck with all of it.

GuestThere is some confusion between net win and net profit. Net win at a casino is calculated as all cash + non-cash. The net profit is what the casinos real cash profit is after deducting credits (non-cash). I know it seems weird that non-cash is added and then taken off later, but that’s how the casinos keep track of it. The important number to focus on is the real cash net profit. Commissions are based on this number.
I always felt that giving affiliates as much information as possible is the right thing to do, however I have struggled with this because this info sometimes confuses people.I hope I didn’t confuse the issue any more. If you have questions or comments, feel free to contact me.
