medyaoyunMemberI honestly dont know a price guys, I know that Im probable best sticking to using them banners for my own affiliate links. I was just curious to know what some networks would be willing to pay for that coverage. ( I know that it would have to be at least 4 figures for me to even consider it)
@casinobonusguy I will pay you $300 for the year

a year? i was on about per month.

James_WMemberah ok, £1500 = $2300, so I wasn’t miles away from your $300/mo
out of interest, given the traffic, it should be an easy sell, but wouldn’t decent CPA banners make you more? Not sure what Bingo CPAs are like though, you’ve prolly considered this..
anyway best of luck, and kudos for a nice site.:hattip:
[note to self, read the thread correctly next time! ]

medyaoyunMemberthe more I think about it the more i think this thread is pointless and that i should keep advertising my affiliate links instead. I was just curious to see if anyone else what selling flat rates and how much they was charging based on the amount of visitors there site was recieving.
I get a lot of affiliate managers telling me how they have the best player retention in the industry and how if I give them a big push on my site I will be like scrooge mcduck swimming in my own money vault in the next few months, and then months later im earning between 25 to 35% of f all from them.
would be nice to get a flat rate from some of the new up and coming sites for the first few months to see if they keep paying.
at least then I would know if it was worth giving them exposure.February 8, 2010 at 11:53 pm #808180Anonymous
InactiveVery nice site.
For pricing, I would ask for MORE then the best spot out of the 4 gets per month and start from there. Then get rid of the worst out of the 4…likely you’re not going to sell all 4 to the same site and probably not all at the same time either. You can always do a little testing and see how much you can get. Put up a “test” ad.
Can work this problem backwards too…how much would I be happy with GUARANTEED per month from these spots divided by 4 = monthly cost.
Realistically though, if those spots are making +$400 a month each, you are going to have a hard time finding someone who is going to pay you that blind upfront.

medyaoyunMemberthe spots are making me a lot more then $400 a month, one of the spots is making me over £4,000 a month.
I was just curious as to what was exceptable to charge for the exposure. and was hoping i would hear qoutes around the same as what the slots are currently earning me. as i would much rather take £4k for a flatrate advert to push a new site,as like i said in a previous post it would take the risk out of giving a new site a push for a month and then find out months later that ive earned 30 – 35% of F all.
If they came back for more advertising I would be tempted to give them a go with the revenue share.
im pretty sure that for the amount of clicks i would send them it would work out a lot cheaper then say paying for advertising on google adwords.February 12, 2010 at 8:03 am #808349
AlexVPMemberWelcome to CAP Mr Sunlight-Bingo

I reconise your site from MR G :-d
I would strongly advice taking your url out of this thread, so its not link anyway.
Google may penalise you for trying to sell links/advertising.cheers

InactiveI am going to remove that link as per the author’s request, but this is a webmaster forum, and links are common place. And webmasters sell advertising.
It’s not a “link sale” per se.
There are plenty of those here also.

AlexVPMemberno i agree its not a wts advertising thread but its as close as it could be, i have been penalized in the past for doing such things. Im just trying to give members the best possible advice.
I was just saying caution to the wind

Ive easily spent 6 figures on that website, just dont want to bugger it up.
and as for the alexa rank comment above, I thought they was joking also.

InactiveIMO, if you are looking at flat rate placements, and you know that a banner will generate $4,000 in monthly affiliate revenue for you, then obviously $4,000/mo would be the basement. Obviously this should be even more than that since you would be expecting on-going revenue from the players that signed up, so a better calculation would be what a banner generates in new sign-up revenue over a 3 month period, that might get you closer to the flat rate amount you would want to charge.
