vladcizsolMemberYes. While its certainly not as easy as it was in past years you can still earn a substantial living online and work at home. No bosses. No office politics (unless you like em then they are available via message boards). You get time off when you want or need it. We go to great conferences.
What’s not to like?

InactiveI agree with the Professor. I will be doing this job until I can no longer see or type.

InactiveMy new website is just 1 month old, and I enjoy every minute I spend on it

After these years it is still a learning process in every minute (thanks to the ever changing internet I will never get bored). And yes, I am too “entrepreneur”-ish and free-minded to listen to an a**hole and dumb boss to tell me what to do and then wonder why their silly ideas won’t success.
Being an affiliate is not for everyone though, if you prefer living on a stable income then you might have hard time when your revenue goes up and down, you need to make tasks you don’t really like (accounting, paying social security yourself, taxes, etc) but at the end of the day one couldn’t pay me enough to go to work 9-5.

InactiveWho you calling old?

Definitely. While it took me years to get well established, I would do it all over again in a heart beat.
And if I couldn’t see or type, I’d get a voice system and continue right on.
I’d have to be brain dead to stop. :hattip:

InactiveMaybe – maybe not.
Don’t get me wrong – I like the job – but I suspect that these days it’s a lot harder to break into the market with a fresh new domain. I got lucky and saw profits coming in within the first 3 months (waaaaayy back in 1999) and so was easily motivated to continue with it.
:hattip:And when I start a new venture I now have access to 200,000 to 250,000 visitors each and every month – so there is immediate traction.
If it had taken 6,12,18 months to see worthwhile traffic and returns then I probably would only have kept it going as a hobby – if at all.
