Inactivepeople who signed up, just dont deposited anything yet?
Yeah, I think that’s what Everest Poker mean.
Twelve downloads isn’t enough to tell you anything though. I wouldn’t be concerned about 12 downloads and no real money players. I would be concerned about 12 downloads and no sign-ups/fun players but that isn’t what’s happening in your case.
My advice: keep on doing what you’re doing and assess it all again after 100 downloads or so.

GuestHi D,
I’d say you’ve still got room to go before getting too concerned but with that said …
some advice that has served me extremely well over the years.
anytime you begin to wonder about a program … spend $50 … and check out the program to see if your money shows up in their stats. personally I prefer to send someone else thru because I’m a paranoid kinda guy that thinks that some of these places will go to the lengths of checking the name on the real money player and of course if its yours … well then of course they’re gonna make sure the deposit shows.
I said $50 but truthfully I think the bigger the deposit made the more likely that program … IF its gonna screw you … will take the shot on the bigger looking players.
I don’t think that’s a concern with some of the bigger programs but some of these upstarts may be cutting corners wherever they can find them.
If nothing else it encourages good relations with your players (if you give them the money to go thru) and puts you in position to periodically talk to the players and that way you can find out where they’re spending their own money and as such … you find out what programs are treating you right and those that aren’t.
I’m not so sure the poker rooms are as likely to cheat you as casinos since the poker rooms make their money not on a players losses but rather on their wins (rakes) so that may not be so relevant in your case but on the other hand there’s nothing like knowing of your own accord instead of walking around wondering all the time.
my 2 cents.

It’s an American English slang phrase meaning ‘that’s just my opinion for what it is worth’.
bb1webs is giving some good advice, though. And yes Everest are legit.

Inactive^^ Thanks elgoog thats what I wanted to hear

So after your stats I shuld recive a player soon… :baby:
how much you earn from each player? Like in average…

InactiveI think about 8-10% will deposit from the registered players. This will vary a ton depending on the quality of the site though. I don’t know much about Everest but I think it is a low traffic site. Players want lots of table selection and cool software. I would expect a much smaller profit from Everest versus a bigger, busy site.
Average per player is hard to figure until you start doing some volume. If you have 9 small players and one big one the average might look okay but then you lose the whale and your average is weak. If you have 500 players then losing one biggun won’t mess up your average.
I’d sign up some busy US friendlies. Poker.com, Absolute, Ultimate Bet, Full Tilt.
Good Luck.

Inactive^^ Thanks, but the reasons I am promoting Everest as hard as I can is:
– I think its a rising poker room
– Its the first (only?) poker room with Norwegian software witch is great because I only own a Norwegian poker site
But what poker rooms would you promote Norwegian poker players too?
I am promoting 9 others too, but pushing on Party Poker and Everest Poker :Partier:

InactiveI don’t know anything about Norway Poker, sorry. I just checked the volume on Everest and I was correct. Their traffic of real money players is horrible. Heres a good site to check out. http://www.pokersitescout.com/
Right now they only have 450 real players. Good luck getting much play. They have a ton of play chippers which won’t make ya any cashish. Absolute is great (1600 players currently) Full Tilt (6200).
I wouldnt be confident depositing in a struggling site with minimal table selection, would you?
Let us know how ya do. I say go with busier sites but if you are only marketing to Norway do what you think is best. Seems like a really small niche even though poker is hot in Norway.
