Just curious. If, as it sounds, you’re looking for long-term retention for your players, why are you looking for CPA? Rev-share would be far more appealing.

Off Topic: Is this forum supposed to go backwards from the original post? I find it hard to navigate.

I’m not specifcally looking for CPA. Rev Share sounds like the better option after searching this forum however it makes it harder for me to do this as I cannot calculate like…

    1000 letters send. 2% response = 20 new players (20*$250 CPA = $5k – cost of mailing)

Instead I need to estimate the lifetime value, and use my businesses money to bankroll it before I see a positive return.

This could get dangerous if the casino packs up and I’m a couple of million in the hole.

With the numbers that you’re talking about then I think you have to stick with a network that’s been around for donkey’s years and will still be here when it comes to pay you. You’ve already worked that out for yourself.

Much as I like the dudes and dudettes at Rushmore et al, I think for your own peace of mind you’re left with the choice of Casino Rewards and Casino Coins, in that order.

Personally, I make more money with different networks but then again, I’m not about to risk a million dollars in promoting them. If I was, then I’d put it into a group that I know isn’t going to fold anytime soon.

The more I think about it, the more I lean towards Casino Rewards. I would, however, consider carefully which of their two payment plans is best for you. Try to negotiate a % profit-share with them.

    1,000 letters – $ 5,000 revenue???

Sounds a bit to optimistic to me:sarcasm:

In this day and age you won’t get anywhere near a 2% rate with direct mail if it’s untargeted. I’ve just done it so I know. It’s more like 1 in 10,000.

    You need a credible list.

Regarding CasinoRewards… I had the exact same thoughts. I made a k or so with them like 5 years ago… And their site and service gives me a lot of confidence. I’m wondering tho maybe they’d allow me to negotiate up to the standard 40% Rev Share if I’m doing big volume.

… Regarding Conversion rates, I’m ok on that front… I’ve done it loads and am not dreaming with my figures.

With CasinoCoins they get a lot of recomendations… But what puts me off (maybe it shouldn’t) is that their site is a Mambo CMS. What are your reasons for CC being a credible company?

Edit: Ah I see they’ve been around for a good few years:

Yeah, they’re very much old school and have been in this game longer than I have. I won’t lie and say that they’re perfect ‘cos they’re not. What I will say is that you’ll get paid.

Thanks a lot for your advice

I’m going to keep considering, and if anyone else has any input too… That’d be great.

Does anyone know about if US peeps have a hard time depositing?

Also which CasinoRewards Casino accepts US players?

    Cheers

Casino Rewards (along with most Microgaming casinos with the exception of Wagershare and a few others) will accept US players except for the standard 11 excluded states – Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Michigan, Nevada, New York, New Jersey, Oregon, South Dakota, Washington and Wisconsin.

Not sure about depositing success with them as I’m UK based.

Is that the same as for CasinoCoins… All but the excluded states?

In addition do you what Rushmore’s policy on this is… Do they exclude those states.

No — only Microgaming casinos have this 11-state exclusion. Casino Coins and Rushmore accept players from all 50 states.

You might also want to consider CWC Affiliates or Mainstreet Affiliates. These are RTG-powered casinos, and they accept players from all 50 states.

Here is a list of U.S.-friendly casinos that I promote: http://www.reelslotmachines.com/slot-machine-casinos/s7
