How does bwin continue to partner with good companies like MGM if they ‘suck’ so bad.

Is it just their ‘past’ that puts them on so many ‘crap’ lists?

Thanks so much GFPC for taking the time to create this post. I’ve heard about all of these brands, but didn’t know very much about them. After reading what you posted, I will make a clear note to never promote any of the ones on that list. I hope all of these bad affiliate programs eventually get what’s coming to them. They are half the reason why this industry has become so dodgy in recent times.

Thanks for the comments guys – I really believe webmasters have a hard enough time in the industry – especially this year as Panda/Penguin – the whole Google thing has really tested our resolve. Rogue programs have always existed and will continue to exist as they come and go each year. I have noticed over the last 1-2 years its just a different shape programs are taking in order to shut out affiliates. As i said 2 years ago when BWIN changed their terms and conditions and became the ruthless and predatory program that they are – expect to see many follow their lead – as we are seeing this more and more now.

I for one will continue to educate new affiliates about these current programs that harm our industry and lively hood. These programs may be able to pay $$$$ to IGB and various outfits to gain sponsorships and all those things but the bottom line is affiliates at least have a fighting chance when they know what to expect.

The programs listed in my post above should be avoided at all costs with the exception of INCOME ACCESS. However i strongly (to the core of my bones) advise severe extreme caution when dealing with IA. I particularly find them unsafe in my opinion and the influence they have on programs to do the right thing is almost NIL.. Just be careful with them! The others are just terrible programs to work with and you cannot trust them.

    Cheers

Ladbokes say they will close your affiliate account if you dont refer a set number of players within a time frame. How many players and whats the time frame ?

Agree about Bwin but not about about IA. There are a lot of very good bookies using IA. Of course some are not trustable but it is so simply take info and don’t join!
About Ladbrokes and all aff prog that delete if you don’t run like a rat to keep always new affiliates, a way could be joining thru a network, for example Gambling Affliation and other. Of course need to be careful because also these are promoting some not trustable bookies.

Several more programs need to be added to the list. I have also just registered WagerShaft.com, which will shortly be my own personal tribute to WagerShare.

Hi mate – add away and we’ll publish a formal list.

    Who are we missing?

    Thanks for the warnings mate.

I’m a bit concerned now, cause Bwin contacted me a little while ago (before I realized they were dodgy) and I signed up thinking it sounded like a pretty good deal with a big name and all. So I put up a review of casino Swiss on my site with a couple of banners. I’m not sending much traffic yet – still working on that. So no sign-ups yet.

Should I bite the bullet and drop Bwin before my traffic increases and starts converting? Will that have any consequences going forward? What do you think?
