vladcizsolMemberNo gas for me. I gut it out with a minimum amount of local anesthetic.
Whether that is a wise thing to do is open to debate. I can tell you some of my sessions in the chair recently have been challenging to say the least.
Tuesday I was also back in the dental dungeon and undergoing “scaling” of all the teeth on the left side of my mouth. This procedure involves scraping or scaling of each tooth BELOW the gum line all the way down to the jaw bone!
The instruments used are nightmarish in appearance and application. Equally fun is that no pain relievers are provided for when the anethetic wears off!
Next week I return for the right side to be scaled. The dental dominatrix tells me this is the last procedure I need, so I am releived to finally see light at the end of the dungeon.
Thanks for thinking of me more4me, I will return the favor next week. I just hope I dont get extra time in the chair for bad behavior!

biggygMemberI haven’t been to a dentist in at least 10 years ,i have such fear of it because of experience when i was 10 .I must brush my teeth at least 10 times a day because if i ever got a cavity i would need some major therapy to get be back in a dental chair lol

InactiveI had that scaling done years ago, its no picnic. Now I get cleanings every 3 or 4 months. that’s the best way to avoid any problems.

I just went through all that deep cleaning crap and spent over $2,000 just on injections of Arrestin not to mention all the other work. I think I bought the dentist a very nice vacation. Wondering if you had the injections of Arrestin also? I was paying $35 a shot.

No worries Professor. I will be right there with you next week. Have an appt. on Wednesday to have 4 more teeth drilled for crowns. On a good note, after those 4, I only have 2 more teeth to go and I’m done with my restoration! :clapper:
belgamo,
What is Arrestin? Never heard of it.
