I had that problem Dom, when i first noticed the changes. I logged off, closed the browser, then logged in again from a new browser window and everything was working again.
June 21, 2007 at 2:44 pm #740296vladcizsolMemberI logged in and out a number of times so perhaps thats why i am not seeing the problem?
June 21, 2007 at 2:51 pm #740302AnonymousInactiveI’m having the same problem with the “go to last post” function. I logged out, closed the browser, came back and logged back in — same issue.
This “last post” thing is a link that appears next to the name of the person who made the last post in a thread. The link looks like a small green button. When you click that, it’s supposed to take you to the last post in the thread. Instead (right now) it just takes you to the first page of the thread.

GPWA had that problem too at first and eventually got it fixed.
It is how I manage to stay on top of posts all day, makes it convenient.
First I bring up “new posts”, then I click on the little button next to the name of the last poster in that thread.
Very efficient.
June 22, 2007 at 1:38 pm #740430AnonymousInactiveAny news on this?
Your faithful moderator is getting ready to throw the computer in the pond…
After years of using this function on all boards I visit, my fingers do the walking automatically. Each thread I open now takes three steps to get me to the last post, and it may not seem much to others but it adds considerable time spent for me.
June 22, 2007 at 1:47 pm #740433supervinceMemberI noticed the same thing yesterday.
Professor: I believe they meant last page not last post. On hot topics with a lot of pages you will see “Thread Title (1 2 3 … Last Page)” When you click on Last Page, it takes you to the first page.

Yeah, it’s adding quite a bit of time to my visits here too (hmm, maybe that’s his evil plan, to keep us here longer so that we have less time to work on our sites — ha ha ).
It is indeed the last post button (not last page). It’s a little green button with an arrow pointing to the right. Click it, and it’s supposed to take you directly to the last post in the thread.
I remember GPWA had this same problem a few months ago, then one day it started working properly. Maybe the Professor’s tech call people can call Michael’s tech people, they can do lunch, etc.
June 22, 2007 at 2:20 pm #740438supervinceMemberI never saw a last post button so I didn’t know it existed. So I guess its more than one problem then. The last page link is doing the same thing.
June 25, 2007 at 12:43 pm #740670vladcizsolMemberOk guys the techs fixed the problem. :hattip:
