    Hey guys,

I’m sure some of you saw the fact that other forums critize the fact that we allow folks to say what they want here so I wanted to alert you to this post by the one that posted the C word last week. Is the F word okay? :D http://www.casinoaffiliateprograms.com/bb/happy-new-year-ready-to-party.32962.html?

i reckon step #2 is wishfull thinking prof. hehe. i just came back from a mind bashing exercies. my conclusion is that ozzies know how to party at festivals.

they had this “thing” at the bondi beach hill which was a massive concert with underworld performing. i suppose it would have been better if i was on heroin or something, as underworld tend to be a bit trippy. and yes, for the nye theme, it was “born trippy”.

very fucking authentic for $150 entrance. and the top dj also cancelled out for the night.

    australia is over-rated. its cazzoooo-land!

linky link with all the drunken pictures

p.s. at some point i even drank “slate”. techincally you should get local citizenship after drinking that. every bit of my body revolted in shakes. i fuckin dare you for the next CAP event!

When not excessive or intentionally vulgar we do tolerate profanity. I am guilty of it on occasion myself. We just have to ensure it doesnt become too common place or be used excessively in a thread or by a user.

I hadn’t seen this one and I usually edit the f word.

I don’t edit and use myself shit, crap, freaking etc.

I guess I will leave the f word if you say so, but I don’t think it’s appropriate except in free for all.

I would not type the words out and try not to use them online or off, but feel that others can do as they see fit to express themselves. I figure since it’s gambling and adult then it’s to be expected.

BTW Dominique I wanted to say that I really admire your ability to communicate online in the manner that you do. You have a very good and civil way of saying things as well as a ton of knowledge and I wanted to let you know that. :hattip:

I have certain words (like the N and C one) censored on my forum so that I don’t have that to deal with any of those type situations.

    Thanks :hattip:

IMO, this is a professional board, and in the professional sections the f work has no place, it’s incendiary and lends itself to escalating flames.

In freeforall, it’s appropriate, people can just have at it.

I will bend to general opinion though.

I also don’t think gambling and porn have anything to do with each other. We are advertising pros, not a sleezy bunch.

And while I am at it, I am starting to find the girlie dolls at the conventions offensive. It’s ok to have a few as a little side show, but when they take over everything I find it offensive. Starting to look like a whorehouse.

I actually have no problem with porn, I am all for letting everyone frolic with whatever they like as long as no one gets hurt. Just having to deal with (not just look at) almost naked girlies at every turn at conventions is annoying the crap out of me. The golden girls are fine by me, it’s a party gag of sorts. But finding groups of them at every other stall (ok, I am exaggerating) at the exhibitions makes me not frequent the stalls, or the exhibitions at times.

What percentage women are in the aff industry anyways? Quite a few nowadays, and women make up a lot of the better affs too. Yet the conventions are getting more and more male oriented.

    Ok, I vented!

I’ll vent with you on that girlfriend because I feel the same way! My first conference was an eye opener for sure. I thought I was in hoochievile instead of a place to network and learn! :roflmao:

I can see the sponsors having their girls at parties, but it’s gotten out of hand during the daytime events IMO so if you have the half naked girls then bring in some hunks for us to look at! :santa2:

While the F word has it’s uses, I dont think the C or N word are needed to convey an idea. I am going to ban those two words in admin.

Sorry I haven’t been around much guys I am in Vegas, woohoo viva Las Vegas..okok :)
I agree that there are certain words that just don’t have a place on forums but also you need to take in account that there are so many different cultures that come together on a forum such as CAP so one word to us Americans may be profanity and it may not be where others live and vise versa. So with that said how can you block them all? I think it is best to just edit if you see it or filter them all. We filter them all becuase it is just easier that way.

Skanks at the conference, well to each their own I think but it was embarrassing in Barcelonia when the hotel had to demand the young ladies not walk around the hotel looking like whores in front of other guest. I think they should be confined to the booth or parties. I understand the appeal there are men that love that stuff and I don’t mind appreciating a nice body now and then but I also don’t like it thrown in my face every time I turn around. I think it is much more sexier to see them walking around with sexy clothes on it has more allure and sex appeal I think. You know leave a little to the imaganition.
