InactiveSurprise, surprise.. another piss poor RTG outfit. They really need to get control of thier licensees. Otherwise the same thing that happened to Starnetc will happen to them. No one will trust any casino with the rtg logo.
As it is I am very hesitant of promoting any new RTG …

InactiveIt would be nice if someone could let Porto-Poop-O know this thread is here…
…then they could see how webmasters perceive their program.

you should of gone CPA with them…..
their bonuses are too high for revenue share and will eat your profits …at least with CPA, you get 150.00 per depositor.

InactiveHi All,
I am new to this forum but am very happy to have found it.
One of our affiliates told me about this discussion and I am not so surprized about the conclusions. If I were a Portofino/Hampton affiliate I would probably post the same on April.
I has been working for Portofino/Hampton for one year and since January 2004, i am working also as an affiliate program manager. As most of you already know, since the pirate fiasco, Portofino and Hampton are operated by Connect2 group.
The new management had their offices relocated and changed basically everything with no prior notification to affiliate partners and even to me!!
One morning at April, I woke up and tried to login to the admin, nada. My Portofino/Hampton e-mail accounts were disabled and a day after during the weekend when the traffic is high, sites were down for the whole weekend.
I called the casino manager and he told me it’s temporary and the changes are necessary, servers were changed and reconfigured etc. He promised me that the affiliate program will be kept operating and affiliate commissions will be paid promptly.
For 9 days, I couldn’t send outgoing messages and couldn’t check the stat’s, it was very frustrating. The only thing I could do is post at the only forum I was active at, the gpwa.
March affiliate commissions were stalled too.
I put alot of efforts to make sure that the tech stuff will be fixed asap and to make sure March commissions will be paid. I am happy to update that the April commissions were paid promptly yesterday.
I am so sorry about the inconvenience and I know it’s not the proper way to deal with affiliates, it was out of my control. I made my mind that I will make sure that affiliate payments will be made and the tech stuff to be corrected, I didnt give up on that. As of now, Hampton login is ok, I expect that the Portofino login will be corrected in few hours time. i am following up on that.
another thing I am working at the moment with the casino promotion manager is to give you guys a special promotion coupon codes and appropriate creatives for both casinos. The promo will be vaild for at least 3 month time so you can effectively promote the casinos.
If any of you guys didnt receive his/her April commissions, please let me know and I will make sure that it will be corrected asap.
sorry again and good luck with the traffic.

InactiveThank you Ron for taking the time to find the thread and write such an in-depth reply.
I apologize for writing things in frustration. With the recent happenings at Hampton, everyone is watching these casinos very carefully… as I’m sure you know.
When days stretched into weeks with no access to affiliate stats… and with the casinos still accessable to players… and no email replies… it seemed that the worst was happening.
This is just an extreme example of how things can appear one way and be another. Now, I feel you are truly interested in running a partnership with your affiliates, and that’s very nice to see.

InactiveThanks J and Dominique,
I sure understand the caution steps you were taking, when e-mails are not answered promptly it’s a bad omen.
Personally, I would have thought the same if I were an affiliate promoting Portofino and Hampton. If they just could tell me in advance, the misunderstanding would have been avoided.
Anyways now my e-mail is ok and I am working for some new special promotions for the affiliates.
Best
