Without wanting to be judge and jury it appears Pokerwize (xxxpokerwize.com) are a rather questionable outfit.

This opinion is based on the following grounds:

    – they have no stats for their affiliates (despite promising that they would be released months ago)

    – they do not respond when contacted

    – conseqeuntly they have failed to make payments

    – their financial stability is questionable after a poor run of financial results and a collapsing share price.

Thought I was safe as its a UK listed company (AIM).

    Lessons have been learnt.

When I dealt with them everything went fine. Payments were all done upfront (set monthly fees). They have since shut down their affiliate department, and have drastically cut back their marketing budget.

Yes, I didn’t arrange for payments upfront. A lesson learnt going forward!

I remember watching the pokerwize room being broadcast on Poker Night Live, which was once a very popular poker show. It never really looked too impressive.

I think pkr is the one to go for as far as 3D poker affiliating is concerned for the time being.
