    Hi Megan,

Thank you. My affiliate manager sent me one e-mail since. He only said if these were second accounts of players they wouldn’t be tracked, but they were not. So I am still waiting for his reply.

I thought poker stars don’t pay rev share ? you only get one payment from one sign up . ? not commissions for life time unless its changed?

It’s changed big time. Back when we started it was hard to get revshare (we managed to) but they only gave CPA and hardly anybody knew you could get revshare and it wasn’t easy. Now they changed everything and I think they don’t allow CPA for certain countries or affiliates so now getting a CPA is the big deal :D

yer they certainly do seem like there keeping it secret doesn’t say on there program either last time i looked?

    cheers for the info :)

From my understanding Poker Stars will allow rev share for affiliates but only after you have sent 20 players. I had a case where i wanted to open a new affiliate account on rev share because i have a site with 2 partners – and did not want to mix tracking plus all 3 have access. I was told I could get rev share but only after i sent 20 CPA players (or deposits rather).

I easily send 10 a month or so and i have them listed as far on the bottom as possible cause the rates are so very poor. Who can survive off of $75 per player and then only get paid after they get 250 VIP points. I am finding with them the CPAs are not triggering so I decided to ask about rev share… problem with rev share they only start you off with 20%.

I think being the biggest poker site gives them advantage and can be still good to promote them – but certainly transparency with their stats is no where 2012 levels. I often feel like I am in the dark ages with them.

Hard dealing with them which is to bad as i would of loved to send them large numbers – yet they do not seem to care to much at all..

I just use the income from them for CAT FOOD. LOL

    Jill,
My affiliate manager says he must have removed the account but he doesn’t remember, so the whole thing is very shady and disappointing. Not sure what to believe…

About their rates… they are crap. For revshare as well as for CPA. But they are the biggest so they convert well. I think 25% or so is the highest I heard of so far from them and that is very low.

For the transparency, I agree. I feel exactly the same about being in the dark. And for one thing, it is much easier to shave off some players if you never get a list of your players. Again, I am not sure what to think :(

This is nothing new when it comes to Pokerstars. For a site this large the reporting should be way better and faster. It’s by far the slowest affiliate backend we deal with.

For us Pokerstars is one of those sites you almost have to put up on your site but we have them listed down low. There are other poker sites out there that are much more affiliate friendly.
