InactiveThis is an interesting and humorous thread.. Mir I wish you good luck.. for every sellor there really is a buy.. not always an intelligent buyerer.. but a buyer none the less..
The problem is, that allthough you have a great domain name.. it is 1. .tv.. which rather sux

and 2. there are still great domain names available! When I registered http://www.ladiesofholdem.com (http://www.ladiesofholdem.net is currently blank and being advertised for $1000 — odd.. it was available when I registered .com
)and http://www.muckhappens.com There were at leaste 20 names on my list, I had a heckuva time choosing! My other favorite (for those still looking.. ) was http://www.BSallIn.com that was funny to me.. its either bullsh… or its BigSlick
heheAnyway I liked it, and anyone with some imagination can still get a domain name for a few bux

Inactivepokernews.ws is available on godaddy for $9.99. Should I pick that up and see if you can get say $250,000 for it. You are welcome to a 15% commission. Heck, make it 20%, I’m feeling nice and really want to incentivize you to get it sold. I might even consider letting it go for $200,000 if it can be given a loving home.

InactivePokerNews. this . that is available…
But its not a Premium extension like .Tv
For those of you who are not involved in the film and television industry. The television revenue has tripled with poker programs. I work in the film and television industry.
160 000 000 people in USA alone will be watching and playing poker daily by 2010. I paid 2000 USD for the research on poker, i have invented a poker toy and need to put it into the market. I need to sell some domains to pay INVENT HELP $20 000 CAD to market my toy.
if i sell to 1%, i will generate 1.6 million sales in USA alone.

Inactivewith the US total population being around 280 million people and you say there are 160 million poker players by 2010? Take out the minors, subtract the poeple without credit cards of money, back out the ones without internet, eliminate the ones who don’t play poker, and what do you have left?
Wake up and smell the coffee.

InactiveAnd learn how to pick up on sarcasm mir. Too many people here know how difficult it is to generate traffic to a new domain. Get it ranked on the first page of Google for the keyword “poker news” and you might have something. Not $1M of something, but something.

InactiveTotally agree with webber and islandmaan. At whois.sc you can find so many nice sounding domain names and register them for under $10! The simple fact that your domain has words poker and news in it does not mean at all that it will automatically bring you traffic. It is thousands of hours of work, hard webmasters’ labor that do the trick! Who would need a domain name without traffic (unless it is something like sex.com that was recently sold for $12,000,000)? It is like a nice car without an engine. You can admire the look of it, but what is the point of a vehicle that you can not ride? First put in some effort, invest money and time in creating a nice site, get a decent volume of traffic and after a couple-three years of the site functioning at full potential you can start putting it up for sale, although I still doubt the listed amount. As a standard, the asking price for a business is usually equal its three-year income. So, to be able to sell your business (not an empty domain name) for a million, your business has to make currently at least $300,000/year. Check out buysellwebsite.com, there are some web businesses for sale at $1 million and more, but those numbers are justified, the sites have been bringing their owners hundreds of thousands of dollars every year, those are real money, you can touch them, not like an abstract “huge potential”. Potential these days worth nothing, potential is a very deceptive thing- it can be there in the future, it can be not, it depends on so many things… There are thousands (if not millions) potentially very profitable vacant domain names. The talent and work that can turn them into “milking cows”- that is what really worth money!

InactiveI dont think any of you have a clue!!!! The Poker industry is on FIRE, and its going to be HOT for the next 10 years. Since TV is producing most of the programs, A television Poker News show, PokerNews.Tv
$1 000 000 is peanuts to a real investor!!!!

InactiveI think most of the people on this board are pretty knowledgeable on the poker phenomenon. However, here’s a clue, we aren’t television moguls with millions of dollars falling out of our pockets. This board is for affiliate marketers who make a living referring players to gambling web sites.
If you truly think your $10 investment from October is now worth $1M then why aren’t you dialing for dollars in Hollywood?
My radar is now up, and I think you have been pulling our leg all along. No reasonable person could think this domain is seriously worth $1M. Hope you have been having fun. I have been getting a good chuckle out of the dialog so far.

Plz buy my pixel add so I can .. yadda yadda.. gotta raise some cash.. sweetie.. Why do you need us to buy your pixels? Aren’t you in the process of selling a website for a million bux! ! ! Hey, maybe when you sell that domain name.. you can buy my site.. I’ll give ya a heckuva deal.. then you can sell that too
