Inactiveparty poker went berserk. sorry we lost ya guys. we ended up leaving the $1/2 and moving over to a $50 nl table after the whole disconnect thing blew over.
jason, you woulda liked it. but the problem with nl is one mistake and BAM, you’re bankroll is gone or crippled at best. i made it through without stepping on a landmine.
i like the idea of an hour’s worth of just fun limit stuff, and then those up for the sport of it, moving over to the kill or be killed game. that way i can have some laid-back fun, and then if i’m froggy (or up) i can jump in on the more intense action to finish the night.
what do you guys think?

I didn’t know what happened. Everyone disappeared, and I was off the table at the time for some reason, so I didn’t know where everyone went.
My bankroll survives $50 NL SNGs pretty well.
My problem is that I spend time building up a nice bank, then get cocky. A few drinks (ok… more than a few), and the money I spent that time earning goes to the guys at the $100 and $200 SNGs.

I wind up 4th a lot in those games, because I have some serious flaw in my game. The flaw is less apparent at the lower levels. Or… what I do works well at the lower levels, but I don’t know what adjustment to make when playing for the bigger stakes.
I had fun playing with you guys, though. I always do, even when I lose.

A: A few drinks (ok… more than a few)hahahahaha J/K man. I am sure when you play serious you are substance free??
I hear thats the way to go…..
I cant do that myself. Hell the only reason I am even there playing is because I had a few (and stuff) hahaha ROFL!

A: A few drinks (ok… more than a few)LOL. Good point, man.
But those drinks are in me while I’m playing the $50 SNGs too. I’m not a fast drinker when playing, so the impairment probably doesn’t escalate much.
It’s a flaw. I’m sure I would be able to identify the flaw better if I weren’t a little toasted. I don’t think anyone would doubt that.
