InactiveKen, just about any room will host a private tourney for you, usually just a case of sending an email to the aff manager. We have had great response from Absolute and some Prima rooms. You should try http://www.poker.com as they are brand new and were more than happy to set up a freeroll for us!

InactiveHi Ken,
I don’t mean to derail the topic, but I was wondering if you could elaborate on this:
BlackjackInfo wrote:I learned tonight I’m not allowed to deposit there because of the stupid Playtech blacklist. (How ridiculous is that?)Thanks.

InactiveI’m on some list at Playtech, presumably for supposed bonus abuse. I’ve never been told exactly why, and I’ve never done anything that I think would warrant such a listing, but that’s been the case for quite a while.
If I try to open an account at most Playtech casinos, I’m prevented from depositing. This is SUCH an idiotic idea. If you think I’m a threat for bonuses, then turn off my ability to get them, but don’t prevent me from depositing. That’s just stupid. Note that I can still deposit at the handful of Playtechs where I had accounts prior to being listed.
As an affiliate, consider this: If you send a player to some place that decides to put your player on this list, you’ll never make a dime off that player at any other Playtech.
(Actually, some Playtechs have the sense to ignore this list, such as the CasinoBlasters group.)July 30, 2005 at 7:57 am #669467Anonymous
InactiveAh, okay — thanks for the info. Sounds like Playtech needs to review their blacklist criteria. At the very least, they should entertain a request to review your account(s) and explain why you’re on the list. Sure it’s a good idea to block real bonus abusers, but they should make sure they aren’t blocking people arbitrarily or accidentally.

depending on which room that is, I am more than happy to try to help out and get you off that list. I work very close with a few of the Playtech poker rooms…

InactiveI think the only players who should be prevented from depositing are those who have engaged in fraudulent practices, such as using multiple identities, etc.
If casinos want to also utilize a list of customers ineligible for bonuses, that could be based on players who routinely open an account, meet the terms and conditions minimally, and move on to another casino. These customers should still be allowed to deposit though.
For the record, I’m certain I don’t belong in the first list, and sincerely think I shouldn’t be on the second either.

InactiveCheck N Raise holds freerolls that are set up privately.
I run one every couple of weeks through Poker to the Max.
Not a lot of turn out…but at least it is fun!

I wouldn’t waste my time sending players there, that place is not going to make it, stats suck…..had a ton of old players from Dynamite poker and they disappeared when CheckNRaise took over….
