InactiveI think its great that at least one community is standing up for what they believe in. If only the casinos would have stood up as well we might not be contemplating a forty five.
At the same time I am amused that they think theres so much skill involved in poker. Hellmuth once said if it wasnt for luck I’d win every hand and lately he doesnt win too many hands. Sure poker involves some thought processes but its still mostly luck, you arent going to skillfully bluff some fish who got lucky and hit a big hand.
Online I have found there are mostly fish looking at every card and quite often finding a river. Of the 1 million members it would like to have I would wager that 95% or more of them rely on 100% luck.

I am in no mood to have a debate about it, but you are very wrong about poker being a skill game. Poker is a game of math and psychology, luck is a factor but it evens out over time. All players have the same amount of good luck and bad luck after enough hands are played, the money ends up in the hands of the skilled players that make the best decisions.

For him, poker is a game bad luck and whining.
He’s accomplished… you’d think he’d whine less. I don’t see hime whine when he wins.

The Poker Players Alliance is not leaving the fight, although now it is going to take an even greater effort from poker players and our organization to achieve our objectives.Ummm… what have they done thus far with their self proclaimed 2 million dollar budget???
That’s not directed at you diceman, btw.
It’s also a real question.
