way I understand it is they gotta win for you to make anything.
since they pay by the rake which is what is taken from the winner’s pot.

They give out their bonus by number of raked hands.
playing 1/2 is exactly the same as 10/20 in terms of getting the bonnus. They don’t earn it any faster playing higher limits. Therefore they chisel away at low-limits.
Plus, the software really slows down the comp. You can’t really play any more than 2 tables if you have a supercomputer.
