shortowMemberHi Dominque,
The period of inactivity refers to an affiliate logging in. So even if you haven’t referred a player in a while as long as you’ve been checking you stats (more often than once every 6 months) then your account won’t be locked.
Also just to make clear, we’re not taking any players away from an affiliate and an affiliate can still send referrals and be credited for them, the only problem they’ll face is that they can’t access the back end reports on them without getting in touch with us first (support[at]heavenaffiliates.com).
Affiliates are also still paid commission into their webdollar account, even while it’s locked, but unless they have a way of accessing it that isn’t through us then they won’t be able to see it.
Apologies for not making the terms and conditions as clear as we could on this update and if you’ve any further questions don’t hesitate to get in touch with one of the affiliate team.

InactiveWhat is the point of that?
I promote dozens of programs and rarely ever visit their aff site, I check stats with stats remote and give positions according to profitability.
I receive notifications of new promotions by mail and they are usually applied the day they are received.
I certainly couldn’t work with you.
Do you mail out a note to affiliates that their account is about to be locked because they didn’t surf by recently?

InactiveThis is a terrible T&C. We don’t work with Heaven and can’t see doing it now. We work with dozens of programs and every so often come across one’s that have locked us out for probably the same silly reason as this. Why on earth would an affiliate program not want to continue receiving targeted traffic, clearly this term is aimed at not paying out commission unless you have to.
I guess they figure if the affiliate isn’t taking the time to check in on their account every month then they won’t notice that they aren’t being paid their earnings. We use StatsRemote too, but not for every program we are on, wonder if using that counts as logging in?
Thanks for keeping up with all of this Dom.

InactiveSince StatsRemote logs in to the stats pretty much the same way as when you login manually, there shouldn’t be any problems because you use our software and don’t login in your browser. Heaven Affiliates actually contacted us yesterday to confirm this.
IMHO this is pretty strange though and I never heard about something like this before. Quite a few programs lock or close your account if you don’t send them any traffic and don’t make money for a long time, but locking an account because you don’t check your stats?

InactiveIt makes no sense.
Some people do not check stats much, others check them every 5 minutes (and grow lots of grey hair lol)
I rarely ever visit aff sites, and many are not in statsremote…
