When i ask for an affiliate account they give me thise :dafingers

The Gooner does not list a fishy program so I am very surprised to see this.
I sure hope it is not true though.
Why should Betfair do something like that to risk their good reputation ???
Could some experienced Cap members please clarify this.

The only thing not true in post above is it is 3000 players in my PokerChamps data base not 2000

If you want CAP to get involved please let me know the complete details of whats transpired via a PM and we will assist you. I understand your frustration but lets work on a solution.
Betfair will take over the world of sports betting sooner or later
ANYONE who bets in Europe should use them…there are no bookie margins meaning better odds..there should be no reason for anyone to use any other bookmaker.
Cant speak for the casino programme tho!

But it was a chock for me to se Betfair approved here.
You are right my frustration is big, i have work with PokerChamps and send them over 3000 players i even payd a special $3 free no deposit bonus to all my players. Just to se all my players removed to Betfair with no credit to me and my big work.
Iam so happy to se you understand my frustration and i will sai a BIG thanks to you and CAP for offer me help in thise case.:hattip:

We are very sorry to hear about your problems and concerns regarding the Poker Champs issue.
Betfair purchased Poker Champs in November 2005. Poker Champs then continued to operate until December 2007 until it was finally shut down. You must remember that although Poker Champs was purchased by Betfair, Poker Champs was run independently.
The Poker Champs cash bonus scheme was used as a referral programme available to all Poker Champs users and linked player accounts in a pyramid scheme which is very different to a standard affiliate commission structure. This may explain why you had a large number of player accounts under your cash bonus structure and this structure does not exist in the Betfair Affiliate Programme.
If you can provide your Poker Champs username we can investigate your account and identify if any accounts have registered for a Betfair account which we can assign to your Betfair affiliate account.
In the mean time we would be very happy to work with you on the Betfair affiliate programme. If you apply at http://www.betfairaffiliates.com I can assure you that your application will be processed as a priority.

Why did you call it a pyramid scheme??? other affiliate programs call it 1,2,3,4,5,6 tier and so
only diffrent was that players dont had to signup a affiliate account if they had a player they like to refer.
IF YOU REFER A PLAYER YOU REFER A PLAYER CALL IT WHAT YOU LIKE.But i have not count the players in the other tiers!
ALL THE 3000 PLAYERS WAS MY 1 TIER SIGNUPS!
And Betunfair email ALL MY 3000 1 tier signups PLUS ALL players from 2,3,4,5,6 tier and so and offer them new bonus and ask them to signup a new account with Betfair.
AND BETFAIR DO NOT CREDIT ANY OF THE AFFILIATES!!!!! :flamer:

When Pokerchamps was on top before Betfair begin cross promode the data base (ALL MY WORK) i had up to $1000 in earnings every week!!
I dayly talk to some of my old players there now playing on Betfair.:slapface:

You can take my info from my Pokerchamps account and make me a affiliate acconut with Betfair.(i have aply for a affiliate account once) so dont like to waiste more time on that.Please setup my account with my players.

We had the same problem. We have been promoting PokerChamps for several years and as being Danish and the fact that the PokerChamps guys were Danish we sent them a lot of players. I think we are talking about 2000 players that was lost – give or take.
This has happened to all affiliates of PokerChamps as far as I know.
However in Amsterdam I had a Meeting with Evgeny and Scott regarding this issue and they are now working on getting our player database tracked to us if they are playing at Betfair or find the database and mail the remaing players asking them to join Betfair Poker under our tracker.
We have asked for a compensation of some sort or that our players will be tracked to us. If this won’t happen Betfair is aware that we can not promote their casino any longer.
For now I am happy with investigation and I will let you know when it gets settled.

Well yes but not jumping up and down dancing in the office…
We had send about 1500-2000 players and we got ca. 450 players attached to our new account. Those who had signed up at Betfair Poker.
I think 24 of them had actually played and two of those 24 players had signed up again with a new affiliate so we didn’t get credit for them.
I took 3 months to get it fixed but we got there by the end of June so I have no outstanding problems with Betfair any more.
