vladcizsolMemberThanks for your support Damian.
Gambling Federation fired the programmers who took it upon themselves to tamper with the software. They corrected the problem months ago and due to the addition of Cedrik, whom we have a lot of respect for, we decided to bring them back on board.
Quote:Some of these Certified/enodore/seals dont mean crap.I also take offense at this remark and feel like its uncalled for. We could also discuss the validity of Player Watchdogs and Privately owned unions, but I certainly hope we dont head in that direction.

vladcizsolMemberDamian I dont agree with you on this one. Some of their employees made a totally messed up decision with the Malware. We even decertified them over it and I agree that type of behavior is totally unacceptable. BUT they fired the employees in question, removed the Malware and have not had any other player issues after that.
Cedrik is on board with them now and over seeing their affiliate division. I feel like they deserve another look at this point. If they do have ANY problems with players or webmasters that arent handled quickly and fairly then we will show them the door.

InactiveWell i for one have already started giving Gfed another chance.
Awhile back i had a very long email sent to me from thier affiliate department upset with me because i had a warning up on my site…letting my p layers know about the past issues with gfed…and if they deposited and played with them…it was at thier own risk…but i also told them..besides the malware mess…i had been a long time player with them and had never had a problem and always got paid….and it was a shame that this malware issue had taken place because they were one of my favorites….
well the email they sent me…explained everything they had done to correct the issue…and how they have become a better program now and they were taking offense to my warnings.
So…i talked with them and was satisfied with what they had done and what they are n ow doing and i started promoting them again and i have had no issues with anyone since. Gfed has some great sites and games and they could be an outstanding program if its run by someone with some integrity which i hope they have now. I am in for the long run as long as …”the run” is honest and respected.

InactiveThank you Pat and Professor for your support and we really appreciate you’re interest for the long run with Gambling Federation.
Like several other affiliate programs, we strive to be part of the gaming evolution. We’ve learned from great achievements as we’ve learned from less successful experiences.
I totally understand and respect your opinion Damiandunlap. Gambling Federation went through a serious reform and corrected and/or terminated all past issues. We’ve invested hundred of thousands of dollars to innovate, fulfill and receive TST certification (http://www.tstglobal.com) for all our sponsoring properties.
Remember that we represent your interest and it is our duty to ensure that you remain completely satisfied with our program. This is a serious commitment that we are making to all our affiliates.
Once again, thank you for your understanding and support.
Regards,
Cedrik Caron

InactiveI would give them a chance,
No one is perfect, we all make mistakes.. things can go wrong in very well respected companies and even in governments..
I believe that admitting the problems, the willingness to bring bad situations back to normal and the the positive approach regarding fixing past problems is an excellent way to start making things right for both ends.
Take 888.com for instance,
Unlike the 888.com issue, where no repent or actions were made.. GF shows a much more tolerant and understanding approach.. GF WANTS TO FIX THE SITUATION AND MAKING STEPS IN THAT WAY. while 888.com did nothing and by not doing anything simply said “we don’t give a damn”I promoted GF between 2003 and 2004 and the DHL messenger has knocked on my door every week with a 4 digits check like clockwork.
I have stopped promoting GF because of a family tragedy in which me and my wife lost our first baby girl who was 2.5 months old god bless her soul.
If that wouldn’t have happen.. I am sure i was still promoting them until today. If their program now offers better marketing tools than just the bunch of the generic banners they used to had.. I’ll gladly promote them again.

InactiveI have played GF a few times and willing them to give them a chance. I wonder however if they support Canadian players yet? greek39

InactiveHi Greek39,
Unfortunatly, we do not accept Canadian players but we do accept Canadian web masters. To make up for this slight issue, our casinos offers reach in over 200 countries.

Also, I would like to thank every one here for the warm welcome we received. We’ve worked very hard and still do to correct the issues that have hit us in the past. Please know that we all strive to exceed your expectations and wish to work with each and every one of you.
Damian, as an oldie on the boards myself, I respect your opinion and understand your position. I hope that over time, you will see that we are in this for the long haul.
Again, thank you all.

Inactivedamiandunlap wrote:Professor, that the problem I supported your site, sent a few new casino webmasters over here. I cant right now say go over to cap and check there list if GF is a approved site. If you take GF you might as well take everyone and your certification don’t mean nothing. There more than enough money to be made than to take a proven place that infected many players computers with malware.Damian, it’s true. They screwed up big time. And I mean huge. You don’t mess with other people’s computers.
And on my site you will find them blacklisted still.
But I also have them on a list of places I am watching to see if they are behaving themselves and if I hear anymore complaints. I am also inviting players to let me know good or bad experiences.
When I get a chance I am going to create a page where I will put places that can redeem themselves, proove that they are all cleaned up.
I will even pay players to honestly tell me their experiences there so I can really see what is going on.
We all screw up at one point or another in our lives and are guilty of transgressions.
We all need chances to prove ourselves.
GF has been clean for sometime now, and I want to see if they have turned over a new leaf. I have spoken at length with them before they came aboard here, and they know they will have to undergo special scrutiny.
I very much doubt that they will ever mess with people’s computers again, the consequences have hurt them big time.
Damian, I am going to keep a really close eye on this. GF will have to earn its way off my blacklist.
I hope they appreciate the goodwill shown here and become exemplary casinos.

InactiveAs much as I respect Cedrik and Melanie – both good people – I for one do not agree with this certification. I also do not accept the reasoning that a programmer did this without anyone else’s knowledge.
It is way too soon, and even more surprisingly without any restrictions whatsoever.

InactiveBut now being a CAP member we have a open line of communication and a new group of people making an effort to make things right. I know Cedrik is an honest person. Let’s jugde them on their actions now. Being a CAP member is a positive thing, they are now in our spotlight.

InactiveThank you Spearmaster for your sincere comment. Rome wasn’t built in a day neither your opinion about our program. As Auditor just mentioned, you will have the opportunity to judge our program on our actions.
Concerning the reasoning about our past issues, I recognize and agree with you as these matters were indeed quite complex and didn’t reflect the rumors. Over the past several months, Gambling Federation has invested and took all the necessary measures to comply with TST and CAP certifications.
Once again, I appreciate your remark and your respect that you have for our team. :satisfied

InactiveG-Fed corrected the software immediately. That was good. But till now players have not seen any announcement made by their casinos about this issue.
And what happend to their membership at RGA (iGGBA then) and IGC? If they come back, that must mean something. But as long as I know they haven’t.
Like Spear, certification without any condition was surprise to me.

Actually, I think it would be a good idea to reapply at the IGC.

InactiveGood point OCF.
Will we restore our relationship with IGC? It is indeed part of our expansion plan. Gambling Federation management main concern is to make this a structured and successful progression.
Our first priority has been to improve our program and our sponsoring properties to meet all TST technological requirements.
Our second important phase is to comply with established webmaster associations such as CAP certifications and inform our worldwide affiliates of our latest improvements and qualifications.
The upcoming stages will involve our executive relationship with IGC and other specific gaming associations as well as introducing new projects to our affiliates and partners.
Regards,
Cedrik

InactiveHi all,
Our decision to recertify Gambling Federation was based on two factors:
1) Cedrik is a trustworthy and reputable affiliate manager that will fight tooth and nail for affiliates, not for a company’s selfish interests. Our lengthy relationship with him and his reassurance that each and every matter that CAP brings up to him will be resolved is we allowed their return. He is well aware though that we have a no tolerance policy against malicious tactics and will permanently ban any program if issues reoccur.
2) Gambling Federation has agreed to certain terms and stipulations we set forth. We are not foolish, nor would we allow them back without certain restrictions. On this matter, we’ll allow our actions to speak louder than words, should the restrictions be violated.
