ixian nailed it. It is the writing in general. If you want to appeal to English speaking players, you must hire an English speaking writer. If you want to appeal to the American audience you must hire a USA native or a very good professional author. Any American can pick out an Englishman’s article unless he/she is quite good pretty much instantaneously. It is pointless to try to do anything else until your site is cohesive and within the boundaries that could fit a language and dialect. A search engine can figure out a dialect and language and direct it to the proper audience.
