A list of rogue affiliations on our pages would be a good idea. On my affiliate page I have started a very loose way of rating the affiliates – once I’ve been around long enough to make a good judgement, I’ll add a rogue section.
We can check each other’s rogue sections and posts here. If we’re diligent, the rogue affiliates will definately feel the squeeze. They get away with way too much.
Take CC – here they are being accused of stealing players outright with their non-aff cd’s, and people are still civil to them. I sense a big reluctance among many of the posters in the CC to believe the facts. The cd is stealing players. Plain and simple.
After being caught with their hands in the cookie jar, IMHO there are only two acceptable responses:
1. immediately remove the cd link
2. immediately chance the cd’s to include the referring aff’s id.Even if they had done that, the fact remains that they did intentionally steal players.
And, IMHO the response to make a landing page without the cd link – or any other working link except for a download button – was an insult to our intelligence.
Webmasters are too lenient! It’s no wonder there is so much crap going on to cheat us. We seem to let them get away with it, just as long as they sweet talk us enough.
The MO of the affiliate managers is to privately message us to deal with an issue that involves everyone – winning us over one by one. They need to deal with the group as a whole – much harder to get away with anything that way – they’d actually have to fix the problems or get shafted.
Sweet talk doesn’t pay for the players or pay the rent.
I say we adopt a zero tolerance to any monkey business. I am. These affiliate managers need to know we won’t tolerate it as a group. There is strength in numbers that we simply don’t have as individuals.

but that’s exactly how I would have put it. It is an insult to our intelligence which is one of the worst things a person can have done to them IMO.

It’s the quickest way to get me started after something too. I barely promote cc – I’ve only sent them about 130 visitors this month (20 downloads – no players, no registrations), but when I read their solution it really pissed me off!
I just noticed that the fortune group has cd download links on their casinos. Think I’m going to get a friend to order it so I can check it out just to make sure it hasn’t got aff id on it before I start howling.
