InactiveWhatever happens here in this industry, the web is here to stay, and so am I.

vladcizsolMemberMy dream is to semi retire to the keys and have a nice fishing boat. Take people out on a few charters each week to supplement the old income and the rest of the time kick back or do a little fishing myself.

InactiveWell, I’m self employed – real estate broker. However, I’ve decided to spent my retirement years (I’m semi retired now) on the net. In fact, I’m now spending about 90% of my working time on the net.

frankBPMemberWell if you’d asked any of us 20 years ago what we’d be doing in 2007, I doubt any of us would have guessed we’d be earning money as casino affiliates!
If this business teaches us anything, it’s how to be adaptable. So I guess we’ll all roll with the punches and see where we go.
Hard to say what the future holds, but isn’t that the fun part?!
To be honest, I’d hate to know!
As the saying goes: life’s what happens to you while you’re making other plans…

InactiveFive years ago, I had no idea I would be here, doing what I’m doing today. At that time, all I knew was that I wanted to have “some sort of” profitable online business. Five years from now, I could be doing something completely different (though I’m not actively looking for something different to do — I’m pretty happy doing what I’m doing right now). I’m hoping / planning to quit my day job and go full time later this year or early next year. :satisfied

InactiveI’ve been working online since 1999 – and singularly in the gambling areas since 2002.
as an ex-techie coder … I enjoy the construction challenge.
as an rebel rather than a follower … I enjoy the independance.
and as a lifestyle … I enjoy the revenue.Quite honestly – I’ll be doing just this until it ends as an opportunity – or I die.
:tongue:Of course in later years I’d like to be doing less than 70 hours each and every a week ….

InactiveWell I had a non-gambling web business before this, so i’ve gone back and focused on that to earn my living.
Retire? I spent my teens and 20’s viewing retirement as an opportunity to sit around the house in shorts, watch tv, trade stocks and try new businesses ideas. With no concerns about money.
Well I still have concerned about money, but otherwise, i’m doing what i’ve always wanted to do.
I’ve just started an MBA program to help fill the gaps in my skills and get ready for my next venture. So many ideas………

InactiveNo plans………just now and here.
Buddha said……….In ten years?
I would like to have an offline venture, maybe a small hotel in a summer place and only one website for a steady income.Internet, will be here and stronger than ever in the coming years , so it is not intelligent to leave 100% this activity.

InactiveWith my health issues I don’t think 10 years ahead, but I know I will be here God willing. I truly think things will keep changing which makes it interesting and challenging enough to keep going with this work.

InactiveGood question BB1! Every time I do one of these predictions it never turns out the way it plans but I know that in 10 years time I will be back in Australia.

supervinceMemberI plan on doing this until retirement although I do have a backup plan (my education) because you never know whats gonna happen.
Lately I have been spending a lot less time working on the gambling aspect of my business and focusing more of my effort on my other websites and also new ventures. The summer months have been pretty slow for me with the gambling industry and my best converting casinos seem to have stopped converting. Hopefully it will pick back up soon but I’m not gonna sit here and wait for it. I’m working on more affiliate sites in other niches, still going to school working on my second degree, and soon I think I’m going to start my own software development business.
One thing I know for sure is that I never want to work for someone else again. I have been at this full time for more than a year now and I don’t think I could ever go back to a 9-5.
