I was watching the news after the Super bowl and they said that there was billions bet on that game. I have a neighbor that moved from New York City and bets on the horses. I asked him some pointed questions and he gave me the answers. Found out he was a runner for a bookie and other stuff you don’t need to know. On an average day he would handle 40 – 50K. I went to some sports betting forums and read the threads and got an education. I have posted an article I found on wireless gaming.
http://www.impactlab.com/2006/02/03/mobile-phone-gambling/ .I included mobile phone casinos in my website and I also started another site mswe.com strictly for wireless spots betting. They are too new to get much action. But so far they are showing good promise, especially the sports betting.
How many people do you know that bet on sports either through a sportsbook or at the office. In the firms that I have worked at you can not get through the firewalls to a gaming site of any kind. But they don’t block your cell phone. Some areas you commute by train, bus or carpool for a couple of hours each way. Some sleep, read a newspaper and I hope they will play games on their cell phone.
This is a good subject I hope other contribute.
