vladcizsolMemberNot surprising. I understand they are actively seeking another CEO too (Doggie).
Since America Football starts today I dont find it surprising that they are trying to put a chill on the betting season now.

They also have to take sports bets from US residents over the phone.

InactiveAny CEO of any sportsbook would be crazy to walk on U.S. soil …
they’re being hunted down one by one.

InactiveSportingbet Plc said Chairman Peter Dicks has been detained in the U.S., the second time in less than two months that a manager of a U.K. Internet sports-betting company has been held in the U.S.
Sounds like he is getting use to the jailbird treatment….

InactiveI went to http://www.yahoo.co.uk and did a search for “online sportsbook”, and got the following results:
http://www.loffs.com/images/ukyahoosportsbook.pdf
Since I’m in Canada, and they might be geotargeting the results based on my IP address, I did the same through a remote session from a US IP address, and got the same results.
Somehow I doubt that the Feds will be jailing Yahoo execs for promoting online sportsbooks….
