I was always under the impression that only real money that was spent at a progressive machine had 3% removed. For example if a player loses $25 at a progressive than $0.75 would go to the progressive jackpot, which would make your income 25% of $24.25.

It seems illogical that everytime the progressive spits out a dollar or two, that 3% of that is also taken, since it’s the same money recycled over and over.

The way brightshare explained it, it would make no sense to have progressives, since it looks like the casino can lose money even if the player loses all of his deposit.

It would be interesting to do the same test, while playing exclusively at progressives on a different microgaming casino. Nice catch, this is an interesting find. In the past the only brightshare casinos i’ve ever promoted have been the slot ones, and this could explain the extremely low player value.

I agree completely. What good is having the progs if they not only are going to NOT make us money, but at the same time they will be stealing money that most likely would have been spent on non-progressive slots.

I’m going to wait for some more feedback on this before I reply to Lloyd.

*i’ve been doing pretty well with allslots but I would surely do my advertising differently had I known this before. And you can bet I won’t be aggressively doing anything with the word “progressive” in it from now on if this proves to be the case at all the Micro casinos.
