These folks are not honoring their payment policies as stated in their T&C’s. I was due monies this month, and did not receive them. When I emailed them, they told me I didn’t reach the minimum payout. However, as per their ‘affiliate agreement,’ their reply was not relevant to a NETeller payment which is what I have as my preferred payment method. I emailed them back on this fact and have not received payment nor reply. My suggestion to the manager, check the affiliate’s account before firing off a uniform email.

My situation was not resolved to my satisfaction, but since it’s been going on for months, I’m giving up. I’ll vent one last time, and chalk it up as a lesson learned…

After many repeated calls from Casino Pays requesting prime placement, I finally relented in August 2004. I agreed to post a main page placement for a month and a half in return for an $800 prepayment. (Yeah, I should have required quite a bit more. I just don’t like any prepaid deals.) The $800 was to be a minimum income guarantee. If my commission was higher, I’d get the higher figure. If the commission was lower, I’d keep the $800. Well, the commission was lower. The spot generated 7 players but only $15 of commissions.

Since then, the person who made the deal with me has departed Casino Pays (Daniel). The negative balance caused by the prepay was carried forward and remains on my account to this day, despite at least half a dozen emails from me about it. It should tell you something about my conversions at CP to know that I still haven’t worked through it in the ensuing months.

I allowed myself to be badgered into giving a program that had never delivered results a sweetheart deal, and I ended up on the short end of it when they don’t honor the agreement.

Lesson learned. At least it was cheap.

    Wow, that’s a horror story.

That is why I generally shy away from prepaid placements – but the few I have accepted I structured just like you did (but yes, I charged more money).

I thought it made it safe to do it that way – treat it as a minimum income guarantee.

    Guess not.

    Dear BlackjackInfo,
We are sorry to hear your views and dissatisfaction over this issue.
We stand by our services offered and make it our priority to fulfill our promises.
It is the same in your case as when the deal was concluded for you to receive $800, we delivered the results as agreed upon!
Regarding your conversion, it is more than above average, and up till this time we regarded this partnership as a successful one.
Following the fact that the person you dealt with is not working with us anymore we believe that the way forward is to start fresh as we are open-minded and keen to resolve this issue and recollaborate with you.
Please contact us on manager@casinopays.com to discuss further possible options.
    Best regards,
    Liat Kerbel

Excuse me, but am I the only one that sees a joke when they see one?

and all this time (because I never made any money when I promoted any of their properties) I thought I had been a failure in respect to CP: turns out I was only $15 away from being ….

more than above average, and up till this time we regarded this partnership as a successful one

    :omg:

    Hello
I think there has been a misunderstanding here…
Our intended meaning regarding this post was that this specific affiliate’s conversion rate, in the past, was more than above average according to the history of his general statistics. We cannot expose the affiliate’s revenue statistics here on the forum, as we honor our affiliate’s privacy, but rather wish to express that our partnership prior to this incident was a successful one!
So in conclusion, we were not referring to the 7 players and the $15 commission he received.
As we mentioned, we are more then happy to discuss this matter with this affiliate personally in order to resolve it!
    Thank you

and up till this time we regarded this partnership as a successful one.

up until this time. meaning now. this time. If you’d meant up until “that” time; you’d have written it that way.

but forget that point. Here’s a much better one.

apparently your “specific affiliate’s” opinion is not in any kind of agreement with your statement.

So I’m curious CP. To just what are you referring?

(please note: here’s some good advice CP. stay down until the count is finished and go insult somebody else’s intelligence, cause you don’t have anything but weak-ass knees holding you up on this one).

Since I started this exchange, I feel I should clarify a few points…

It is quite possible that Casino Pays views my past efforts as above average in conversions. I had a handful of good players back in 2003. Despite sending very little traffic at that time, I landed 6 players in a 3 month period that produced over $5000 in commissions. That’s pretty promising, and I’m sure it’s above average by anyone’s measure.

However, since 2003 I’ve tried several times to duplicate that feat by increasing my traffic to their casinos, and I haven’t had a good month yet. Over my entire history, I’m disappointed in the results per click-through.

Now, luck has a lot to do with results, and if anyone doubts it, just take a look at the recent thread about top 10 programs. Everyone seems to like a different group. Part of that has to do with the fact that different programs appeal to different types of site visitors. But a lot of it has to do with good ol’ luck. I’ve heard some webmasters say that Club Dice converts very well for them. It hasn’t for me. I don’t know whether that’s just the luck of the draw, or if there’s something about the site that my particular visitors don’t like. But the bottom line is the same regardless.

I wouldn’t have posted here if it weren’t for frustration about the prepaid deal. Just in case CPays is wondering, I’m really not interested in pursuing this any further. Your comment above tells me everything I need to know about your position:

    Quote:
We stand by our services offered and make it our priority to fulfill our promises.
It is the same in your case as when the deal was concluded for you to receive $800, we delivered the results as agreed upon!

This points out a good reason to not make deals over the telephone, as I have no emails to prove what the arrangement was to begin with.
