At the same time even though I dont trust Party that much, I trust them a whole lot more than Empire or IOG.

InactiveMust agree Axl. Party Gaming has its’ shaddy aspects for sure. Given a choice I would most certainly endorse this take over. Empire and IOG are far less trustworthy based on what I see.

InactiveI have the feeling we are about to see a few more takeovers in the coming couple of months…

croupierMemberi think its clear what they bought and they are much desired to the shady israelis at EOL. but my main point was the valuation the assets were purchased at and its relevance to affilaite site purchases. does no one care?
i have been in talks with some potential buyers for my business, and i was hard pressed to get someone willing to purchase at 2xs my earnings so a sale didnt make sense for me, although i still entertain offers. i guess a business sells at whatever a buyer and seller agree to at the end of the day.

InactiveYes, Party has purchased IOG.
“Shady Israelis”, I don’t know about that. We’ve been working closely with IOG for years now, and have found them to be completely trustworthy, honest and upstanding.

InactiveI have not had problems with IOG.
Them being bought by Party worries me a lot.
Party has a huge mess to clean up, and that can’t be good for IOG..

InactiveHas Party ever honored an agreement with affiliates when taking over another poker room? I can’t think of any. A few “buyouts” but that is all I can think of.

InactiveParty didn’t even bother with the “buyouts” with their casino affiliates. It was just tough s#!t there.

InactiveI have never trusted Party as they just change affiliate links without advising the affiliate – you suddenly discover out of the blue that the links no longer work and for this reason I don’t promote them anymore, but I must admit that IOG has never given me any reason to doubt them.
They are one of the few affiliate programs that I still trust.
I can’t say that I am too happy to hear that Party has just bought them out.January 9, 2007 at 9:25 am #721607Anonymous
InactiveWhat about the affiliates who promoted empire sites through Cpays like Club Dice and Carnival? Of course they’ll disappear from c-pays stats, but can we keep promoting them or getting the money from our old players from the new owner of those sites? Or will us be just kicked out loosing all our old players?
How can I contact the new owners of those sites? -
