InactiveHi, well I am out of tournaments after 14 hands. Was it me or is the software unbelievably slow, also six hands I would make a bet and then a window would, informing me that I am sitting out. And an option to get back in. Cannot figure out if I was getting disconnected or for some of the reasons. Good luck to all good luckgood luck to all :la-de-da:

InactiveI ended up 84th, I went all in with QQ… against KK (from “chris1982”)
Too pitty, I was just transferred to a new table
I had totally no table image of the guy so I guess it was bad play
I have been around place 50 for the most of the tournament
And I also had some problems with connection… and my PC fell off also once… lost me alot of SB’s and BB’s and potential bets but I blame my PC, not the poker.com software.

InactiveI really liked this first real poker experience and I want to learn more about NL texas holdem
I am downloading crazy vegas ($10 no deposit bonus) right now.
And indeed, thanks to Professor and the others behind it, it was very nice
(I also see you give 20 persons a price, which I prefer over just 3… very nice!)June 29, 2006 at 6:53 am #697112Anonymous
InactiveDom – it’s actually against our kahnawake licensing rules to send the password as a part of the signup process. That’s why you won’t find it in any emails. There’s a ‘forgot password’ link on the login page – did you try using that?
Professor – what do you mean you couldn’t download it…. Where are you at the moment? What sort of connection? There should be no problems with downloading.
Anyone who thinks the software is slow, what are you comparing it to? Look at the hands per hour played – they are up at standard levels. It may just be your perception that makes it feel slow, but I’m working on getting some of the animations changed to make it ‘feel’ quicker. It actually is not slow, but a lot of people seem to get that vibe when they play it for the first time.
Hope you had fun – that’s the aim!

InactiveKris,
I had friends play at poker.com and they came away with the same response of the site is slow. I really don’t know why they thought that. But after playing at poker.com more they got used to it and started to really enjoy the poker room. But I have a feeling alot of players do feel that way at first.June 29, 2006 at 7:48 am #697116Anonymous

The timer had to run out befor your bet would show or not at all and you sat out .i made at least 5 or 6 bets or calls and the timer ran out . I have played 5mins ago and it work ok timer stoped when you bet not that way in the tournament. I looked at hand log but its down. had fun .
mcscs p.s in the tournament timer started when it was you turn and keep running till it ran out for me at lest.I am trying to find out how you are notified when you are disconnected. I think that is what was happening but I never saw a pop-up or message that said you have been disconnected. Only the would thing was would you like to be seated. As I stated last nite when I went back and play another game everything worked fine. Just trying to determine if the problem is on my end.
