Forgive my ignorance, but what is this all about? Never heard of the Panda/Farmers update. :allears:

Hello Ixian,
The Panda update was a change in Googles search engine results who’s major impact was removing sindicated duplicate content such as article directories. So, if your website depended on artificially increasing your links via solely on article directories you may have been affected.

Traffic kept the same. Pretty bad for some sites that accept articles that many other sites have. Looks like it is getting harder for people who want to make money with as much less work as possible.

I was aware of the new Google directory and duplicate content update but for some reason did not associate Pandas and Farmers with it. :wink-wink

Panda is the name of the google fellow who brewed it up, and it’s widely called Farmer’s online because it targets content farms.

Im not sure if Im correct but, In my own view, Panda/farmers update is the new algorithm of Google. Panda update was develop by Google to stop search engine spamming and to filter websites from spammers.
