LOL–There are a number of people who might argue with you about my competence, Steve.
Most of what I know I about SEO I learned from Classics here in the forum, and Antoine and Kevin in Vegas. And Mongoose via chat.
And considering my rankings, I probably wasn’t paying close enough attention.
Having over 100 outgoing links on a page can cause it to disappear from the Google results as well. I lost my index and another internal page for a few days, and luckily, having known sites being dropped all together for this reason, counted my links real fast – both had right at 100.
So I deleted some links, and next cache, was back in the same positions. Very scary feeling. So, you might check.
You might want to see if your page came back. Mine re-appeared today. Guess G was just kidding. :rolleyes:
