InactiveHave you ever played a real world pachinko machine? Curious to know the difference between real world and online experience when it comes to Pachinko.

InactiveNo I never played the game. I saw them in Japan in the 70’s when I was there and the pachinko palors where full. I’ve heard that it is more popular now. I made up a site page and referenced the game so I made a link to new page on pachinko. Hope fully I’ll get some traffic.

InactiveTed (Spearmaster) wrote an article on Pachinko a few years ago and it sounded absolutely facinating – I cant remember the figure but the market was worth a fortune offline and his point was that no one had properly mimmicked it offline but if they could it would clean up….I actually bought some pachinko domains then but haven’t done anything since….I also bought some pachislo related domains as I believe this is the more addictive electronic type game

bsmartMemberI used to own a pachinko machine and had hours of fun playing it, but sadly the Dolphin Paradise game really doesn’t come close to it.
TBH I would say this is the kind of game that won’t translate well to the screen.
The little balls plinky plonking down through the nails while some gaudy dressed panda bear dances across the LCD singing in Japanese just doesn’t seem to feel the same on a flat PC screen.
The money is retarded in Japan. Interesting history behind it involving Yakuza and North Korean Mafia, oops, maybe I’ve said too much

Alex, I’d keep the domains though, you never know, esp with Pachi-slo being so slot-similar and the 2nd hand Pachi-slo market is quite big in the States (check eBay)

InactiveIt’S true the Yakuza used to control it in Japan. Not sure if that’s still the case. And yes Playtech seem to be the only ones who’ve caught on to this fascinating game.

InactiveIsn’t there some morning game show that has a version of it? The player there stands above the board and drops a ball and it bounces around on big nails and ends up on the bottom on a prize?
If that’s what it is, then a couple of 3dice slots have features that operate on the idea. One has a ball bouncing downward being caught and sent into different directions by flowers and it lands on the bottom on a prize.
Another one is a medieval setting and the ball rolls down and runs into see-saw type things that make it change direction and eventually lands on a prize.
Is this the concept?
