Hiding aff links is really important for affiliates!

Not because of hiding aff links from users or something else because of not giving the casinos link power for free.

Few programs redirect the affiliate traffic from http://www.casino.com/aff=12345 to http://www.casino.com

A while i thought “how nice is that, looks much better for users”

But the casinos uses a 301 redirect code and google will transform the linkpower from http://www.casino.com/aff=12345 to http://www.casino.com and the casino get some really nice backlinks for free.

    Wait please, explain please…
For example, I have a link from CPays
    http://banner.playgatecasino.com/cgi-bin/redir.cgi?username,
when I click on it it will be redirected to wwww.playgatecasino.com

If a player makes a deposit there it won’t be tracked in my stats? Is it true?

Is it true? I have the worst conversions in CPays, I see a lot of clicks, a few downloads and 1-2 real players and they are not active.

I use 301 redirection to remove affiliate links from my websites to protect affiliates from commission thieves. Before doing the redirect I either set a cookie or register the affiliate id to a session. Most likely this is what the casinos are doing as well. This way you wouldn’t lose your commissions.

No, the tracking will work fine with the redirect system.
But you are giving away free links and playgatecasino will rank high in google.
