When one online poker group is the target of an expose on TV and cheating is alleged the general public and the right wing media use this “example” as a reason to ban ALL online gaming. You and I know the difference, but “Joe Six Pack” and especially Joe “the plumber” dont.
It may be satisfying to some to see Absolute Poker “get theirs” but the industry as a whole gets damaged too.
I would much rather see POSITIVE Stories about how a huge jackpot changed someones life or was put to good use. Or how a casino helped a rural village in Africa survive a drought etc…
