InactiveReport this guy to all the search engines immediately. I saw this happen to casinogeek.net, only problem is, casinogeek.net got banned from google and not the copying site. That really sucks. Casino Geek as a result is still waiting to be reincluded into googles index.

Inactivecasinogeek.net got banned from google and not the copying site
– the problem is in to many links
– and an other problem – casinogeek.net and http://www.casinogeek.net
. You had casinogeek.net in index. After redesign and redirect of casinogeek.net to http://www.casinogeek.net – you lost first site but I think the www site is new for SEs

InactiveNow this is an ideal opportunity for affiliate managers to help webmasters fight this nasty “crime” by closing accounts of people who copy others peoples sites, or even better and a bit more cunning transferring all players obtained by copy cat sites to the owner of the original site.
When you design a site from scratch it takes a long time there is a lot of effort involved sometimes days/weeks and if you constantly build the site its never ending.
I really dislike people who steal site designs and as I say I would love to see affiliate managers helping fight this, its worse than spam ( well for webmasters anyway)

I am pretty sure most Affiliate Managers will assist their Affiliates as soon as it is brought to their attention.

Thats fantastic, it appears with copy sites the affiliate managers hold more power than a search engine, well done Stephen

InactiveHi All
Just to let you know that I’ve been in touch with the offending webmaster and the site has been taken down.
Unfortunately, this type of thing seems to be becoming more and more common place – this is the 4th time this year I’ve had to either warn or terminate accounts due to copied conent.
I can recommend http://www.copyscape.com for anybody who wants to check for copyright infringements.
Cheers
Tim

The owner of casinogeek.net deliberately removed her site from the Google index because someone was using a 302 redirect to hijack the site.WagerShare wrote:Hi AllJust to let you know that I’ve been in touch with the offending webmaster and the site has been taken down.Way to go, Tim!

InactiveIt has also just dawned on me that as these copycats have signed up for affiliate programs and as such the affiliate managers have the real identity of the owners! ( for offenders who dont take down the site(s) and try to remain anonymous)
Worth remembering and useful to know
