InactiveDefinitely not, but just glancing I think google will think your keyword density is way high.

InactiveI think what Dom means is that the word “poker” may be appearing too much. At least that was my first impression when I took a look.
Do you use any seo software like WebCEO or Web Position Gold? These programs will help you on things like this based on which search engines you are optimizing for.

InactiveThanks for the input. Thats a tough word to cut down on considering thats the main theme of the site. I have been able to cut that word out quite abit but looks like I still have a ways to go.
When testing my keyword density that word garners about 12-13% while other keywords/phrases hit 3% to 7%.So far though I am having some success with getting good rankings for some minor keywords/phrase which I had’nt even targeted.

InactiveI would get my keywords straight and competitious from the beginning, fuck SEO man. If you really want your site to be something mentionable one day, you should focus in some quality stuff, people can’t find from other portals, uno!
I know it’s a hard task to accomplish, since i myself struggle with the content, but get your focus on clients, not SEO!
People will find out what your business is about, sooner or later!
Even my own sites look like some scraper thing now, but i know that
and am honestly trying to make my baby for people, not search engines.:yinyang:August 8, 2006 at 11:18 pm #701481Anonymous
InactiveI would say if you are going to give a brief description in your body of each page on your site then I would suggest at least making the page titles in the body ovbious links to those pages. As I was reading in the body, ie “Poker Bonus Codes” I had to scroll up and see if that was an opiton on your menu. Since you already have the title “Poker Bonus Codes” bolded, make that a link by attaching a hyperlink and underlining it. This makes is more obvious to your users and they can just click on it rather than having to scroll up and find it on your menu.
Also, in my opinon, Resources and Information has the same meaning to most people. I would suggest that the heading on your menu titled “Resources” be changed to something like “Menu” or “Main Menu”. Your dashed border on your table is also viewable which is not attractive in my opinion I would either remove it all together or place top and/or bottom borders between your sections in the body.
Overall, I think your site looks really good. It’s easy to read, no distraction with flashy banners and very informative. And please do take my recommendations with a grain of salt, or incorporate them as you see fit, as I am a new newbie myself. Good luck to you.

InactiveHi All,
Check keyword density at:
http://www.linkvendor.com/seo-tools/keyword-density.htmlTo get an idea what Google and the rest of SE’s see you need to view your site’s page(s) in a text-mode browser such as Lynx. I use LynxView at http://www.delorie.com
Because of abuse you need to add a file called delorie.htm (can be empty) to your server before using it.
See what the Winning at the Slots home page looks like to the Search Engines. Click the delorie link below and paste this http://www.slot-tips.users.50megs.com url into the view page box after the http://
