You seem to be getting alot of traffic – if it isnt converting then I am assuming it is not targetted. Shoot me a PM, I would be very interested in discussing this further.

As Kevin11 mentioned, this seems to be alot of traffic that might not be all that targeted if you aren’t converting enough to be rich and on an island right now. There certainly could be things for your site to improve upon for increasing conversions, but I think you need to start by looking at your webstats. Most importantly, where are these people coming from? and are they really all unique visitors? I’ve tested out some PPC sites that delivered this number of “uniques” in one day, only to see in the webstats that it wasn’t real. Needless to say, no conversions.
I found the island statement very interesting. How many signups a month would you expect with 3000 uniques and what sort of casino revenue would you expect?

The real question is what kind of data are you capturing from your visitors. And what are you doing with that data. Quality Vs. Quantity.
Your peers are correct about needing to be targeted. You also need to weed out the duds and catch the whales. My recommendation is to start by getting you current visitors to give up some personal data, the more specific the better. Your numbers may go down, but the quality of the player is likely to be higher. Of course this will only work if you offer them content that they want or need.
Then develop a solid CRM program. It doesn’t take much to put together a weekly newsletter with some quick tips for your subscribers. Again, this will be much more successful, and virtually risk free, if you get them to offer real demographic info. And only send to those who have, and always be CanSpam compliant. Which really just means put in a physical mailing address and unsubscribe.
Once you capture that data, and as long as you offer solid content, you can begin to market a ton of other products. My first suggestion would be to look at electronics based affiliate programs.

Are they 3000 unique visitors from search engines for gambling keywords? when i was ranked high for major casino keywords in google, msn and yahoo at the same time i was getting on average 300-400 unique quality visitors and i can tell you just from 300-400 quality visitors a day i was making a huge ammount.
