Inactivefrom reports at the crawler alert system http://www.crawler-alert.com it seems we are in a deep crawl and start of a dance in a matter of hours

InactiveYes it appears google is gobbling up my sites – hopefully all those nice link exchanges we got a few weeks back will get us back to the top!

Good Luck (I think we all need it.)

InactiveIt’s being good to me… LOL… moved up a couple of notches… but not sure if it has even spidered me yet.
edit –> it hasn’t – so that can only mean sites above me are dropping, or else the algorithm has changed again.
Funny, too, I just called a pro SEO for a quote, and he quoted me figures which just blew my mind and they don’t even guarantee a certain rank.
Needless to say I won’t be taking them on… LOL… seems Florida is doing a good job by itself for free!

InactiveStay away from any SEO who would guarantee you a rank.

vladcizsolMemberYou aint kidding. Not only are SERPs total shit, but now back links and PR have gotten trashed as well! I hope we are just in the middle of the dance and this crap doesn’t stick.
This is getting to be like an old song we play over and over with Google, we stare in horror at each successive update and try to hope for the best while getting strangled by these guys. :madat:
Its so sad, this time last year most of us LOOKED FORWARD to the monthly Google Dance and we loved that damn engine, now look at where we are…. 🙁

InactiveGoogle is making it very difficult for me to get motivated to build any new websites. You have to wonder what the point is when even before it’s released it’s decided that the website wont rank well due to the search terms it’s found under.
Also, the people at google who claim content is king are full of bs.
C’mon Yahoo drop these losers all ready!

InactiveI’m still better on at least one of my terms, up 4 since the dance began. PR for the site has dropped by 1 last I checked though – but I don’t care too much about PR anyhow just as long as there is SOME PR LOL.
Quote:Also, the people at google who claim content is king are full of bs.Couldn’t agree more with you, Antoine. Though if you ask me content seems to play a bit more of a role now than pre-Florida, judging by my current position.

Inactive… having said that, with RARE exception, the top 10s in the favored KW phrases do NOT have any content worth talking about.
Content is king my ass. I learned that the hard way.

InactiveI don’t know why are you talking about a dance result, according to http://www.crawler-alert.com there was no final dance results yet, 4 data centers which should reflectt the new results are not accesible to the public, it seems that the current SERP is just due to fresh bot
