InactiveI don’t know off hand which programs offer that. I’m sure there are other members who do know. But while the question is out there, I was wondering about offline advertisement myself. Can an affiiate get into trouble for advertising say in newspapers or with brochures? As this is a grey area here on the net, wouldn’t the same line be crossed by doing it offline too?

InactiveYes – currently I wouldn’t want to draw any unnecessary / unwanted attention to yourself. If youre not sure then its probably best to step back and wait until you are sure

As for brochures…I guess it depends on which state you are distributing them in. Check with state laws first. :terms:
California is coming down very hard on any online gambling advertising whatsoever.
Wouldn’t want to mess with them…they may prosecute you for distributing brochures which advertise online gambling…Although I do wear my T-shirts advertising my sites when I go to the race track there.
Yikes…I hope I don’t wind up in the pokey with Martha… :whoa:

InactiveNot sure I explained my questions well or maybe I am not understanding the answers. Programs such as Partypoker offer software cd’s, flyers, and business cards to their affiliates.
What I was looking for is any casino’s which offer the same.
I am not talking at all about advertising we are talking about promotional materials only.

InactiveThe person who mentioned the T-Shirts got me thinking about the idea. How did you manage to get T-Shirts?
I think it would be great to wear them to poker when I go play, and get people to ask ME about the poker room/casino rather than have to bring up the subject.

InactiveIf you only need a few to start then look into cafepress.com. You can even create a full line of logo wear with no startup costs.
If your planning to do large runs then they are not cost effective.

InactiveThe problem with buying print material in the states is that it shows you are directly marketing to the US players. By advertising on the web you are promoting to the WWW so there is much less risk of being in the Grey area.

vladcizsolMemberHello Piscasonos and welcome to CAP :wavey:
If I understand your question correctly you are seeking coded materials to hand out to prospective players. A number of our certified partners have CDs coded with your affiliate ID available. Casino Coins is featuring this as an option, I am relatively sure Fortune Affiliates can provide them also. If you ask for coded CDs down in our certified partners area I am sure you will get plently of programs who will be happy to work with you on these types of offline promotions.
Hope this helps and good luck!

InactiveThe professor is right, fortune will provide coded CDs.
I have seen several programs offering on their sites that you can burn your own CDs, but I forget which.

InactiveThanks, this is what I am talking about. I may have just been spoiled by partypoker.com. That was my first affiliate program and they sent me an entire package of cd’s, flyers, and business cards. They even threw in a hat

The cd’s with that we can burn with our affiliate code is a great start and even better would be if the service offered cd lables and business cards templates that we could download and print out.
