InactiveMy own thoughts on this:
Right now I’d say “no”, but i think its logical in time as Google looks to improve SERPS, it may. You see, one of the big things that SE’s having really known how to factor in properly yet (and which is probably the single most important factor in making a business successful in the long term) is “branding”. You have bet365, someone else has bet24, someone else just has bet, someone has bet247 etc etc and there is confused branding which will hurt everyone in that group over time to some extent.
If you are looking to develop a site with long-term potential, you are far better off having a distinctive Brand for your site IMHO. If you are looking for a development to sell on, then its less important as many out there don’t understand the importance of branding. If you are looking at straight domain resale then a 365 is probably so-so but will limit it to niche buyers and will be much more dependent on the popularity of the domain keyword.
As an aside, i think Domain keywords will die out in importance in the long-term for SERPS as on-page content and off-page relevancy algos get more intelligent. I’m also 100% convinced inbound link importance will gradually die too, but whereever i go i seem to be largely alone in that one

Cheers
Simmo!

InactiveFrom my perspective I can’t see how adding a 365 or any other number to your domain will affect you in the Google SERPs. It just doesn’t make sense for Google to pick a number and say that this domain isn’t relevant. The way Google works today is that other web sites link to your site and that counts as a vote towards your relevancy. If you have a gambling related site that is a PR6 then you will get good benefit from a gambling related link no matter what your domain. If you get a link from a site about cutting hair that is a PR6 then you will get little to no benefit from that site since it isn’t relevant. Google SERP position is based on a mathematical equation, and to just blanketly say that any domain with a number in it isn’t as relevant as a domain without a number doesn’t make sense.
More importantly is the understanding you need to have when buying a domain. My opinion is that it doesn’t matter what domain you register, it could be abcxyz.com and you would have the same chance of ranking for any given keyword as if you had gambling365.com. You can’t just buy a domain name these days with the word gambling in it and expect to show up in the SERPs. Ranking in the SERPs is all about the on-page factors and the off-page factors (ie: linking) that you have.
My recommendation is to register a domain name that is memorable that you can brand. Keyword optimization can happen for any domain name, you just have to know how to go about it.

InactiveThanks guys,
Well I was thinking of getting domains, put content and direct traffic to my site that I try to brand. I feel it is much cheaper that PPC for getting targetted traffic and no fake clicks
