“1gamingsite.com”, among others. Will numbers in domain names effect search results? I suspect not because I have done searches before and there are domains on the first page that commonly have numbers. But just wondering, would like to here you comments.Thanks.
They did when Yahoo served directory results, but that was years ago.

InactiveThey make a difference if the number is a part of the search. Look at the results for
Omaha
Omaha 8
Omaha eightOtherwise, I don’t know. Probably not much help.

InactiveNumbers in a domain won’t effect SERPs. It may effect type in traffic, but if you are rely mostly on SEO that isn’t a big issue.

InactiveThe number helps with directory listings especially where you are targetting a regional market and that market has a good number of directories. It also makes it possible to buy a good decent domain name that isn’t already taken.

InactiveIt also helps you to get higher on the link pages of people who alphabetize their links.

InactiveIts also a nightmare to brand unless as pokermonger says, its a relevant number. I avoid them like the plague. If you were ever successful in SERPS with “no1onlinecasino.com” for example, you’d have a whole host of ppl registering typos and variations to try and get your traffic. Nightmare
