InactiveWager Share is Microgaming and Wager Profits is RTG…just to set the record straight.
If this month keeps going the way it looks, it’ll be our best month ever. Once again the poker rooms are kicking butt, SciFi is right on target or above a bit, we finally got out of the hole at Portofino and we picked up a whale (tiny whale to most of you, but a whale for me) at Havana Club last month that is still whaling away!November 9, 2003 at 12:13 pm #641304Anonymous

InactiveHey Everyone,
Revenues are decent month to date for me, but new player deposits are almost non-existant for all the webmasters I have spoke as of late. We need new players to make deposits to continue to grow this business now and in the future. Without a change to a more seamless deposit method for new players put in action by the casinos we will all see a deteriation in coming months in my opinion. The online casinos need to act now without further delay. One thing the online casinos need to do is move away from selling VISA and Master card’s as payment options that decieves the new player. The casinos need one registration form that covers the casino and the alternate payment mechanism. Simple and seamless with a gurantee to increase revenue now and in the future back to all time highs. It’s really that simple.November 9, 2003 at 12:58 pm #641309Anonymous

Sorry, hope that didn’t sound sharp..:3eyes: just didn’t want any new webmaster to think it was the other way around and sign up with one to find out differently.Allan, you are absolutely right. Most of our income this month is also from previous players, not a whole lot of new depositors this month.

InactiveThe “wager places” are getting confusing:
wagershare is microg
wagerprofits rtg
wagerwages rtg
wagerjunction rtg
wagerstreet sports
wager affiliate sports
world wager sportsand I am sure there are more.
Actually it would be neat to get a list going. The “vegas places” are even more confusing!

InactiveHehehe
wager and vegas names are all getting confusing …. Not taken as sharp at all EllenIng just a bit confusing even to seasoned veterans …. good example of just how confusing it all is.
I have to agree with Cap about the cc issues, the fact that they are advertising cc’s have to make it confusing for the new players. Actually it makes it down right discouraging and we lose those people as new players as well as the fact we paid top dollar to bring them in after working our tails off and risk our revenues.

InactiveI had a quick skim through download stats and they are way up, to be expected as we have a few new sites but deposits are certainly not in line with what I would expect.
I figure a download is just about 25% of the way to a real player but the reality is more like 2%. Was a time could count on 25% of the downloaders converting but sure as heck not for the past 4 months.
I can only attribute it to deposit difficulties and the intense frustration this will cause.
RTG seems to have the best player retention rate for us and existing players are putting the bread on the table.

InactiveI have managed a network of just over a couple 100 gaming sites for about the past three years. 42 of which I have paid to have listed in the Yahoo Directory, and for a time thought I had found an early retirement.
Last Novemeber we billed out over $32,000 U.S in ad sales, CPA deals, flat rate mailers, and affiliations.
Since the merge of Yahoo and Google..our directory listings have more or less dropped off…I have got an incredible start in this industry and am hoping to find someone/company/individual who might be able to lend their experience in getting these sites seen again!…if you know anyone who would be interested in further discussion..please let me know
Rise.
