    When are we going to see an update about what’s going on over at Slotland, Hannah? Didn’t you guys have a player hit your progressive not too long ago?

    things have really dropped-off for me at Slotland ever since (I heard) they had some kind of processor problems.

    I would think they’d have settled that problem by now however; but my commissions never recovered.

    I’ve begun cutting-back their exposure as much as I hate too; their numbers just aren’t there anymore.

    This is the first I’ve heard about processor problems there.

    Hope we see Hannah here soon–with any luck, maybe it’s something that’s already been solved.

    Hello Everyone!

    I apologize for for being quiet such a long time! I wasn’t on holiday and Slotland wasn’t sleeping all that time. I dealt with some personal things – like finishing building my house and recently – getting pregnant – which made me and my boyfriend very happy! :)

    Well, what’s been happening at Slotland in the meantime?

    First, I have to explain your information regarding the processors problems. Our processor for the mastercard transactions added the gaming code to our MC transactions back in June 16th. Since August 4th we are back in the game with all MC transactions :) Between June 16 and August 4th we were processing approx. 1/2 of MC transactions. However – we don’t process only MC transactions; also VISA, Neteller, 900Pay, PrepaidATM that started to be used by some of our customers that encountered the problems with coded MC transactions..

    So, the total amount of all transactions between June 16 and August 4th was lower approx. for 1/3.

    It was a real disaster for the small affiliates that had only few customers and most of them were using the MasterCards. The webmasters who has a larger portfolio of webmasters with variety of depositing methods were harmed less and we even encountered some webmasters whoms commission was even higher than before! Don’t ask me how they did it! It may be just their luck – having most Neteller and VISA players – I honestly don’t know.

    However – at this moment, we process same amount of transactions like before. We believe that the big changes in our processing will bring the fruits very soon – we use the official VISA 3D Secure and MasterCard Secured network. Standard processing ways may start to cause a great problems to other casinos earlier next year, according to my information. Let’s see.

    NEW REGISTRATION PROCESS

    Back in July we have also made the registration process for our players easier! They have to fill in only the contact information and right after that – submit their registration. After submitting this form, they have an active gaming account and they are transferred into the Banking section for choosing the amount for their initial deposit + depositing methods.

    Since this time, the amount of registrations increased 5 times – no kidding! However, the amount of transactions didn’t change that much – this only shows, that people sent to Slotland need to be better targetted and they should come to Slotland and be ready to play here. Or do you have any other recommendations?

    Since March 2004 – we have 100% match registration bonus instead of constantly the same $10 we had all time before. It helped to bring BIG players which is reflected in the increased amount of VIP players we register since this time.

    So – I hope I provided you with a short but detailed overview of what’s new at Slotland for the last 6 months. I promise that I will check this forum more frequently now and keep you informed to assure you that we are not lying on our backs somewhere on Bahamas but continue to work hard in order to keep our beloved Slotland growing and both players & affiliates satisfied!

    Could you please provide me with your affiliate ID at Slotland directly at: hannah@slotland.com, please? I would like to check your stats and let you know some details let’s say 1 year back, about the activity of your players. From these information you could be able to outline a new strategy on how to promote Slotland more effectively. As I mentioned in my previous post here in the forum – our processors are working well since August 4th, and the players are coming back so this should no longer be a reason for a low commission.

    I would be very happy to check this out with you in case that you wish to cooperate with us again. Your websites have a great potential to promote our games in my opinion, so let’s do something with that! :)

    Thanks for posting; I appreciate the direct manner in which you’ve addressed the processor problems you were having in the past. If only ALL the affiliate programs communicated so well with their partners…
