InactiveHello villa10,
I believe casinos are ilegal in Brazil and I think that’s why some
people from Brazil play online but have issues on collecting their
winnings.Any input for a brazilian affiliate will be helpful?

LeroyGMemberI am always looking to buy advertising space on sites with non-us casino traffic. Drop me a line if you want to sell space.

InactiveHi Dan,
I have seen some sites that promote games in general and they sell ad space.
I can pass you that information if you wish. The reason why I post about the NON-USA market is because I wanted to see how many affiliates will be marketing their sites outside from USA and what countries/languages will be going after.
Besides Outsourced Affiliate Management, my company offers translation and localization services by native speakers. I will make a post about those services at the service and content section.

InactiveVery good topic Connie. I have never done this, yet, but would love to get into it.
What countries are good to market to? Someone said japan above, any other asian countries good for marketing to? I thought I had read china is very much against it. Any reliable ist of countries that have banned online gambling and others who accept it?
I think I am ready to abandon the US market too.

InactiveHi axl,
From what I know, people from China can only play casino games on
a subscription basis and win prizes instead of cash.I guess any country can be a target where to promote the convenience
of playing casino games from home.I will suggest you to ask some of your affiliate managers for this information based on the players they have. You can probably ask for their top 10 countries where purchasing customers come from.
There are a few countries where online gambling is being banned however players can still make a transaction. I’ll do some search and post it here about those countries.

InactiveThis topic just make me think of a question. If you make a site in japanese for example, what language is the HTML in?
February 16, 2007 at 6:21 pm #727606Anonymous
InactiveHi Fonzi,
HTML is always in English for what I know and the text to display can be any language.

InactiveI was having this chat recently with a client
we agreed it went like this :
North and South America : Mostly Illegal
Australasia : Insufficient Population Density
China/Russia : Illegal
Africa : Insufficient disposable income/rife with corruption : Not worth the Risk
Eastern Europe : As AfricaThis leaves Western Europe !
And opf western Europe, the UK represents approx 30% of Net Revenue at the moment.
The United Kingdom is the way forward……But it wont be that long before we reach saturation…..

InactiveWhat happens with the money when you promote in other countries.
Anyone promoting in another country has to sort out the money first. How is that done?
From the property to the processor, from the processor to where? Don’t tell me your bank – all that foreign currency! Checks, wires!!
So – offshore banking (dodgy), an account in the country of choice – difficult. Then what? A wire from there to your bank – that’s bank to bank so it should be OK.
Been working on this for a couple of weeks reading site after site and not getting far. So many banks out there but not enough information. Trying to do a whois on them but what a lot of work and in many cases there is no information.
Feedback?

InactiveYou can ask the Europeans here, like myself, about the banks if you are unsure as to wether they are legitimate or not. Wether you will be able to open an account with them is a different story though.
