InactiveDude – you got that right – Ran is the SHIZZNET!
He believes in you and if you stick with him you’ll go places. I wouldnt be surprised if he becomes the head of CPays and he deffinitely deserves it. Plus 90% of their success is his accomplishment anyways. But don’t worry about the fact that the rest of the aff programs dont pay much attention to you – it will be like that until you become a big dog, but you can’t blame them much – the have thousands of small affiliates and they cannot pay attention to each one of them. We have all been down this way (Ran is just a workoholic  )
My advice is – keep your head up and if you have found an aff program which will treat you good even when you are a small affiliate – stick with that company and dump the rest.

InactiveAmen…You can find one decent guy in one decent program and it can make a king size difference.

InactiveI agree that you have to find and work with the right people. I am a small fry in this game, but there are several programs that work well for me. I know one is not one that pacificsun likes, but Lloyd from Brightshare has always worked very hard for me. I am just starting to deal with Revenue Giants and Roo is very responsive as well.
There are other programs (nameless) that I could email 5 times and get a response after 2-3 weeks. They are removed from my suite of sites. And I am all the better for it.
Good luck and choose those that are willing to support your efforts!

InactiveAnd don’t forget Renee and Ryan, although I’ve hardly made anything with them, I always receive replies to my emails extremely quick. Because of this I have now started sending players.
Roo, well he bends over backwards for you, I’ve now started sending registrations his way also.
There are a few programs I don’t care for, BUT they pay. Problem is you post about a payment and you get a snotty answer, no class, these are the programs that I drop! (There’s a few here at CAP)
Overall there’s just to many good programs out there to worry about the non-responsive ones. If you feel they treat you unfair forget about them, when they realize your rankings are good in the search engines they’ll come a knock’in, Don’t open the door.
Remember the choice is yours, work with the ones willing to work with you, they’re smart enough to know you may be the next “Big Affiliate”

GuestHi,
just thought I’d add a word of caution to the newbies.
Its been my experience that often times you will run into programs that are eager to help and they do all the right stuff right up until the time comes that you realize you’ve been sending this program a lot of traffic and seeing little bottom line for your efforts despite what might be great stats in all the other categories (which is of course ammunition for that eager aff manager to keep shining you on) …. remember bottom line is paramount and the rest is just bragging rights for those who like to talk shop.
some other reasons a program might be trying so hard
they don’t pay!
they are guilty of supporting black hat affs (scraper sites etc) and therefore most the aff community won’t touch them with a ten foot pole thus they are desperate
have some skeleton in their closet which is so horrible that nobody in the aff community will still have anything to do with them despite major changes in the policy/staff … therefore they are desperate.
the casinos have a bad reputation for slow or no pay to players. This group you can bet I wouldn’t list if they paid me up front 10x the going rate and I imagine many others feel the same …. therefore they are desperate.
just some things to think about. I know its a bitch finding programs that you can work with and to be honest I don’t have the kind of relationship with some of the places i promote; that I should have. the reason being that its so hard to establish one. Heck even you do manage to establish one its usually not too long before that person is moving on or up and therefore you basically find yourself right back out in the cold.
a tough cookie for certain. Wish I had better for you but I thought I’d mention the above because jumping out of a program that is bad about staying in touch but that is known to produce/pay on time to a program which might fit into one of the above scenarios is not a good thing either.

InactiveThat was worth the read.
The thing that surprises me most about these programs is that management really misses some serious action with their horseshit attitude. No kidding…they want to ignore me…? they can kiss my ass. When 10 people tell them the same…they lose serious money and when they get a reputation for blowing people off … oh my …that’s too bad. They don’t get that.
They don’t understand how do business in the good ole U.S.A. We don’t like to be treated like crap here. They stuff all the cash they can in their pockets and then come with every excuse in the world to short pay you. There is one very popular program here at CAP that continually insults me with jacked stats. I’de like to pick him up by his ankles and shake my money out of his pockets….and if that gentleman might be reading this….it ain’t over till it’s over.
In order for any business to be successful all parties must benefit. Treat me honestly…treat me fairly…appreciate my effort …and they get 75% of my action for life. Who could ask for more ? (but they still do)
