My website won’t be ready for a while, I was hoping to see if my domain was strong enough worth pursuing?
You domain is non-existent right now as far as the SE’s are concerned, so I gather you question is more about if the domain can be successful.
The name seems solid enough, but it depends on if you plan on being a brand or if you are looking for an easier path to search rankings. I would say from a branding standpoint the domain is good since it is fairly memorable, doesn’t have any hyphens and is a .com. From an SEO perspective, if your plan is to rank for the keyword “poker guide” then you have a good domain for that, other poker terms will be very hard to rank for and you will need to plan to spend months if not years to rank.
