I’m no expert on this but

It could be the ‘100’ scripts loading
it could be the feeds loading
it could be the css loading (make a css style sheet)
My site browser says you have 49+ things to load

I think you have to many things loading on to this page
PLUS if you have 1 thing that takes a long time to load it will slow down the whole page (it could be a tracker, a feed from another site etc.)
just a thought
